Very informative, I wasn't aware of these strap companies. Do all these type of straps fray after a while?

@@barryfleischer5167 only the original Hamilton has had issues...the second keeper is almost completely useless...the outer fabric covering frayed and came off. The tan Fin strap has some light fraying around the holes, but it's not getting worse.

Cool video. I had not heard of Fin before - thanks. How did you sandblast the buckles? How did you make holes to add quick release spring bars?

@@EdmundPorter-ju8kd good questions…for the sandblasting, I have a air abrasion unit at work (dentist) that shoots aluminum oxide. For the spring bars, there are some KZbin vids on how to do it. I wanted to do it right with one of those punch tools, but they’re crazy expensive. So I used a brand new, very sharp exacto and then heat treated the edges with a red hot exacto. They came out “alright”, not perfect, but good enough.
