Does anyone know where they are best kept once completed the process into the base for the several weeks? Away from sunlight? If so what degree of darkness? Many thanks xx

I have one identical to the one inside wire with 3 little ones , i have removed the glass, and sanded and repainted the metal, but im at a loss as to how to "polish" the rainbow glass without scratching it? It seems to have scuff marks in it already, suggestions? Love those big ones too!!

😢 I miss my greenhouse. We had to downsize a few years back. Now we live on a postage stamp size place. 😊 I still get to garden and have been working with what I have and making it my own. It needs to be very low maintenance and I’m slowly getting there. Your channel has helped me a lot. Thank you.😊

Happy to see you are back. Boy! Mildew! From my seat in my dining room, I have watched a large +/- 50 ft maple tree in the neighborhood, just turn gray from mildew. The whole tree! Luckily nothing in my garden in Kent WA is prone to it.

I always learn so much from your videos so I was excited to see you had posted one. I'm sorry about your kitty. I understand that loss all too well. We never go long without one, two or three cats in our home. They bring us so much joy. 😻 I'm also glad you took time to be there for your mom and that she's doing better. Enjoy your fall gardening. :) xo

How beautiful that leaf shaped heart with the sun shing through! So good to see you again. You are my favorite in the PNW. Sorry to hear about your kitty, however, your Mom's health has improved, and that is good news. Nice you now have a new greenhouse, also, just in time for winter. My Mom and i look forward to your videos. Happy Fall 🌻💛🌻

Debbie, greatly have missed your videos! You showcase plants that are quite unique and different to what most every other gardening channels show. Which I tremendously appreciate. ❤ However, so don't blame you for spending quality time with your momma 💕. My mom passed at just 60 years old. I miss her everyday and feel cheated that both my parents passed relatively young. So jealous yet happy for those who get to have their parents with them for much longer. Embrace and appreciate your time together for sure! Also sad about the passing of your fur baby. It's always sad and takes adjustment. But congratulations 🎊 👏 on the upgraded greenhouse!! Even though losing your other one had to be hard to deal with at the time. I'm sure the upgraded version will be of great value 👍. Will look forward and appreciate any future videos from you when your time allows. Perhaps your momma would like to participate in a video here or there if she's able. She may find it quite fun.

Ive had success growing fuschias in Sacramento over the past 10 years or so, but this year the heat has been long and extrodinary. I have 4 year old plants in hanging pots, but some look close to death :( I've been tempted to uproot them now, give new soil and a super-shady part of of the property out of fear that if I leave them where they are, they will be dead soon. Thoughts?

Would you mind doing videos with living plants on how and when to prune: - different varieties of clematis - different varieties of hydrangeas I get so confused. Thank you!

I love ground covers. I had tried everything you showed in this video (plus more), with no success despite 30 years of trying at my garden in Vancouver, Washington. I noticed that none of my neighbors had ground cover success except for vinca and some sedums. It must be a micro-climate or soil issue in my neighborhood. A mile away, in another neighborhood, everyone has lush expansions of ground covers. Including many of the varieties you talked about. The Portland metro area seems to be getting hotter and dryer every year. I made a switch to xeroscaping my yard. Gravel mulch, cacti, agave, yucca, some grasses, and a few low growing plants from California seem to survive and thrive. Not really my thing. God, I wish I could go back to gardening in Seattle.

Pittosporum tenuifolium is not noticeable fragrant. However, the Japanese mock orange, Pittosporum tobira, is very fragrant. I never noticed while growing up in the Seattle area, but when I was stationed in a more warm and humid location, the giant P.t. in the courtyard where I stayed, could make one swoon when it was in bloom!

I just love the internet. Six years ago this great video was uploaded and today I need it to savvy myself up about fuchsias. I don't think we have hummingbirds in the UK, but if we had, I'd put up a live feed camera 🙂 . Would be awesome to watch them going for the nectar of the fuchsias.

My yard here in NSW Australia I have 6 crepe myrtles ,absolutely beautiful flowers in the summer . I also have beehives and the bees love the crepe myrtles they are very busy collecting all that lovely pollen and nectar so if anyone has bees plant some of these they flower for a long time over summer and keeps the bees happy.

Japanese forest grass is called "Fuchi grass" in Japan. There are three types of them: golden leaves, white spots, and green. The wind grass in your garden is big, very splendid and wonderful. "Fuchi grass" means grass that knows the wind. Thank you for the video. I will use it as a reference for planting in the shade.
