If it’s Uyghur instrument then it should be satar(ساتار) not sattar(ساتتار). I know it because I am Uyghur and my last name is Sattar 😂. But anyways, solid performance, appreciate your work and effort to spread Uyghur culture.

@markuswachАй бұрын

Hi, can you do a hypothetical reconstruction of ancient Gandhara music reconstruction based on the musical instruments depiction😊. Gandharan statues have a lot of Rabab like instrument,flute,daf/framedrum depiction and all. It would be really interesting.

It's impressive how consistently good your intonation is on all these fretless instruments. They all feel and play differently, and yet you seem to play them all effortlessly.

You play beautifully, thank you. I have about half a dozen Central Asian long necked lutes of different types, but I've never seen one of these before, it's a beautiful instrument and Im jealous, I would like one :) You also have some beautiful instruments behind you too. A delightful video, thank you.

Interesting it shares a similar shape to the tibetan dramyen / tsongra with the two sharp points sticking out like that. Turkey through China is a kind of "Lute-opia" with so many different yet similar instruments. Sounds like youre playing in Maqam Zanjiran or Raga Nat Bhairav.
@markuswach2 ай бұрын
Yes, also a lot of other traditional lutes share these features

@markuswach2 ай бұрын

Our music I feel has been thoroughly neglected and left unexplored by the wider world, and I hope it will soon get the attention it deserves. Thank you very much for your contribution friend
