Covid and the developments since have certainly took the Soul and Fun out of life.

There was a night club in the City I lived that was so rough before acid music became popular. I was shocked when I went in there one Saturday Night after acid music had come out to find the place packed and everyone dancing having a blast. The vibe of that club had totally changed for the better

These young lads are exhibiting good, clean, fun. NO drugs, just water, cheese n pickle sandwiches and energy...pure energy.

I enjoyed that you could basically go off and do your own things at older raves and everyone was open, but the e's were brain-damagingly strong and messed up your emotional response to everything later on. There also were a lot of incredibly sus things going down at raves and way too many creepers...it wasn't really a golden age as such and enabled a lot of terrible things to happen whilst everyone was too high to have appropriate responses.

My mum and dad were old school ravers and the stories they would tell everyone loved everyone. You wore what you wanted and danced how you wanted. Always brought up with this music and I'm now 27 deffo born in the wrong era 😅

Today's time and date - 22:00pm 12 August 2024 but 35 years ago exactly i was outside a pub in Alperton getting in a car getting set to go to this party. SUNRISE AND BACK TO THE FUTURE 1989 DANCE MUSIC FESTIVAL....The best day of my entire fucking life! Nothing will ever match this day...Lost half a stone dancing so much, hugged at least 3000 people as i danced with them, jumped on a bouncy castle like i was 16 again, smiled and did the dance mental like i never knew i could... Thank you Tony Colston Hayter for giving me the best day of my life. xxx
