Used to jump the train there and back to Kent, pay 50p for a child ticket for the underground and that was it. Later on they cottened on and at bletchley station they used to have loads of police and ticket inspectors there, so we would jump off a stop early, (leighton buzzered i think) and get a ticket there. :D Good good time, all these years later and i look back and i think, some of the best days of my life for sure at the Sanctuary, i miss it.

This was my first of many Raves at the Sanctuary - Lived nearby - After this first rave my whole life became one big rave - (I got some record decks and my house became like the Sanctuary for days after lol 1995 was an epic year - I think the best era of the sanctuary

94 was that cusp where new tracks were using samples you had already heard before on other tacks. And some labels were crazy prolific at releasing new tracks with rehashed samples and 4 beat drums....as the shop i went to 2 or 3 releases a month wasnt uncommon.

Kniteforce released some gems in 1994. Proper breakbeat driven tunes accompanied by awesome piano riffs.....top year for tunes 1994 :)

Before they did the big venues we used to go to a club called Milwaukees between Bedford and Rushden that was Helter Skelter every two weeks and supernova every other. That was wicked!
