Lindo filme, linda escritora, lindas atrizes, linda trilha sonora. Marcou minha juventude.

What a magnificent rendition of this beautiful piece. That piano accompaniment is simply spot on. Bluesy, rich, and elegant in its complex simplicity.

I was spending time with my sisters and somehow we hit a topic that reminded me of this video and song. I remember writing to you in a message asking which band this was because I couldn’t find the song anywhere! I was really young then and I want to thank you for being so nice and for sharing the song. Thank you for also being a good memory and for being there for my first ever fandom ship, haha! I hope you’re doing well!

Wasn't Amanda Peterson in a movie with McDreamy? I always thought she's going to be a huge Hollywood Star. So beautiful and talented.

There's nothing this woman can't do. And a nice woman. I helped her buy some chairs once and she couldn't have been nicer. A true genius.

That was outstanding. I kind of wish the song hadn’t been interrupted by Shirley’s character. I’m willing to bet that Meryl can sing that well at a cocktail party. I only hope I’m in the room to listen.

I've heard so many versions of Cindy Walker's song as I just love this song so much. I have to say to Meryl Streep's voice just makes it so touching. Her voice just hit the feelings so well.

Rewatched the movie and think it must've been hard for Carrie dealing with all that bs. Im pretty sure all that really happened and its not mostly fiction as they claimed.

My favorite female actress, and one of the best singers of all time. Now, we just need Meryl to stop listening to the fake news channels and speaking from a MISinformed viewpoint on subjects like Donald Trump/MAGA! :) (still love you, Meryl!)...

The visuals remind me of the original opening to Eight is Enough. The music sounds like it came out of a 1970s TV movie. It's quite lovely, esp. the version used in the mini-series.

And I can hardly speak My heart is beating so And anyone can tell You think you know me well Well, you don't know me No, you don't know the one Who dreams of you at night And longs to kiss your lips And longs to hold you tight To you I'm just a friend That's all I've ever been But, you don't know me "I Din'd know the bridge" Afraid and shy, I let my chance go by A chance that you might love me too You give your hand to me then you say goodbye I watch you walk away All I can do is cry. No one will ever know the one who loves you so No, you don't know me

I loved this show. I was in college, at-the-time. I only saw the breakup scene; in the final episode of the miniseries. I watched this show religiously or tried to. I caught bits-and-pieces of it and it was fabulous. I was really mad when it was cancelled. Thirty-three years later, I would rather this on you-tube, than the garbage that passes for TV, these days. I was in love with Wendy Phillips, still am and I really liked Amanda Petersen and SJP.
