The hate towards Kiara for what went down between her and Pope is unfair. Y’all are forgetting that she rejected him at first but he didn’t take it too well, all of that caused her to feel guilty for not at least giving him a chance. Which she did end up giving him, and once she got with him, she realized she wasn’t satisfied with their relationship. She’s also a teen girl navigating through her life and figuring out who and what she wants. Now it seems like after trying it out with Pope, it gave her a clear understanding of what it is she needs for herself. That’s not her doing Pope dirty. That’s her prioritizing herself. Yes, it’s unfortunate that Pope got his feelings hurt, but it’s better than Kiara leading him on and pretending like she wants to be with him when in reality she has no feelings for him. Kiara also shouldn’t be forced to maintain a relationship she’s not comfortable with.

I like how homework and dress codes are basically a light suggestion in this series. Plus their house walls must be really insulated, otherwise wouldn’t their parents come barging in saying “What’s wrong?” and “No swearing in my house!!”

I like Euphoria, but season 2 was a major retcon of season 1. The writers say how much fans wanted Rue & Jules to be together and went with it. In season 1 Jules cnleadly isn’t as into Rue as Rue is into Jules. It’s a story of unrequited love/attraction-which is something everyone can relate to-but just a modern version of that story, with a black nonbinary person and a trans girl.
