Excellent video... This is a fab review, esp because I'm a sports bike, cafe racer rider too. Currently on an Enfield GT650... Similar 270 Ank Crangle 😂... Which is so nice and smooth. Here because I sat on a Bobber yesterday and I really must go for a test bimble.... I'm not far from Bristol so will be paying the dealers a visit! Subbed!

Well done Lara! I’m a 60 yr old man. So nice to see we can have an intelligent opinion from a young female rider. If this allows me to keep riding, got to be worth a look.

I took one for a test ride a few days ago and COULD NOT STOP SMILING. I live in rural north Devon and most of my trips are very short so this makes so much sense. It will be delivered in 5 days. I'd already taken out the insurance even before engaging in the test ride. This is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT experience. Insurance is cheap, no VAT, no road tax and ridiculously cheap to charge up.

That was sadly the last ever Bristol Bike Show. They couldn't open it up again after the Plandemic, and the new road layouts in Bristol city centre have made it impossible. Wonderful memories of sitting outside The White Lion, watching the bikes roaring in and out of the show and round the centre. Great bands every year, and the crazy old lady dancers, never to be forgotten.❤

I agree. I don’t like pannier and absolutely loathe top boxes. I’m a 90 degree (L) twin fanatic. I currently have a Supersport,950 and a RC51. I’m looking to move from US to Portugal and hope to ride in the Pyrenees too! I’ve been and walked in the Pyrenees loads of times but have always wanted to ride a bike on those roads.

you're an excellent reviewer! considering a 950s or a panigale v2 Bayliss, dunno. i've grown to love saddlebags on my Ninja 1000, so any aftermarket exhaust has to be kept low so i could use Ducati's panniers.

Enjoyed your video, you being an experienced biker, with two wheels is there a slight hesitation for the machine to want to turn in as opposed to one pivot point, Yamaha gts 1000 had this yet you learn how to ride around it, if you’ve not ridden one, do so.

I caught this video out of my desire to get an electric trackbike for use at go kart tracks. I found your video and was surprised by all the “new” things this exposed me to. I have been a motorcyclist for over 30 years, so I don’t get “new” things to ponder a lot. Thank you! New thing#1. I am a track rider familiar with 2 styles of riding, knee down and foot out (supermoto style). Here you are demonstrating another (one I knew of but don’t ever think about): foot down. New thing #2: dirttrack school. This is something I have long felt I need to learn to be a real motorcyclist. Thanks for the video and making me aware of the school. Love that this is a course with left and right turns. That was new to me since i am only aware of left turning circle tracks. (Gues this is 2 new things.) New thing #3. This is a question. Foot down technique puts your knee in a vulnerable position for injury. I am thinking about MCL/ACL injuries. I know this is more of a thing for dirt/offroad riders. Do you think knee braces, such as used by dirt riders, are a good consideration for this type of riding (dirt tracker insights welcome)? They are $$$. I am thinking about my foot flexing my knee sideways as it contacts the ground. It is at the very “end” of your leg and has a lot of leverage. Even if the friction force from the ground doesn’t generate a large force. Just wondering if this is a real concern or just an intellectual distraction. Good safety gear allows us to master 2-wheels while allowing for errors with less consequence. I want to ride and master everything 2-wheels related. Especially riding techniques. Thank you for the inspiration into “new” things.

I agree with everything you said about the bike. The bike is at home on big sweeping turns. Not as much so on smaller canyon turns. I love the characture if the bike. Love the engine. The stabilty. How it holds its line on the big sweeping turns. I love the looks and the sound of the bike. But the bike doesnt like being below 3000 rpm. So in very slow stop and go city traffic where you are in first gear at one and two thousand rpm. Stopping and starting. The bike is not at all injoyable to be on which i found out tonight. Plus the engine heat in slow traffic. So there are definetally better bikes for city traffic. Other than that i really love my SuperSport.

If you only drive/ride 50 miles a day, an electric bike/car makes sense. However, longer trips such as touring on the motorway where regenerative breaking is non existent, a petrol engine is the clear obvious choice.

really really great review- i have a Panigale v2 for the track, and this for the street. It’s the most streetable of all their sports oriented Motos. I personally love the old school sport tourer segment. Not a fan of being a human sail on ADV style motos. Is that a full system exhaust you are running?
