Incredible footage indeed! Just found your channel and subscribed, I make thunderstorm videos from Missouri, in the process of uploading some incredible lightning footage myself, I’ll definitely check out more of your videos!

Footnote:P I'm surprised that the "forest" around hasn't been targeted before or at all really.

Sadly, the British Isles is a tiny blot on the planet. We don't get a whole lot of outrageous weather. Last time I saw mental lightning was 2017. 2 hour light show. Now, we can't take a bath for fear of missing our whole summer. UK is CRAP.

Great video, although not much thunder in this one. This was this morning I think, or Saturday?

Some great lightning strikes there even though the storm was not overhead, I liked the sound of the quietly rumbling thunder too.

Great lightning footage, goodness knows how bad that storm would have been if it was a daytime storm, for a night storm that was pretty powerful.

What area was this filmed in? I'm living just north of Tampa, Florida, and there seems to be something that causes storms to drop a shitton of lightning as they are coming ashore and moving in-land. Love watching these storms. Love the video, too.

This was filmed at my home in Texas. It was a storm that was rapidly intensifying and popped up about ten minutes prior to the video starting

Great video! This was part of the heavy rainfall event that moved through southeast Texas last night?
@Oned3dV6Ай бұрын
Yes
@MrStundon1Ай бұрын
@@Oned3dV6 Looks like it was caused by a shortwave trough that moved through SE Texas after midnight, according to the Houston forecast discussion. Very high moisture rates, and training of showers and thunderstorms. The previous heavy rainfall event was also a mesoscale convective system.

Looking forward to this summer where I live in New Jersey and South Carolina I don’t want any tornado warnings though no thank you

Looks like a pretty sedate thunderstorm to me. Not like the lightning we used to have in those electrical storms we had back in the early 1960s and earlier.
@Gregorian69Ай бұрын
calm down unc its just a storm no need to get offended liberal.
@basspigАй бұрын
@@Gregorian69 your comment should be addressed to the uploader of that video, who seems to be acting like it's an apocalyptic storm. And FYI, I am NOT a Liberal/Socialist.

I'm going to guess it's a man filming this. Not complaining, but I for one would not be in such an unsheltered place filming lightning lol. I've been indirectly hit before, it sucks. I can't imagine how a direct hit would be. Not giving it the chance.

Great video! Was this storm today? I know there was a major severe weather outbreak from April 8th until April 10th. I was following it closely.
