I hope you will continue to show us your traditional cooking. It’s better than watching all those world famous chefs . Also your traditional attire and lifestyle are so wholesome , healthy and peaceful. It’s very soothing watching your videos . And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.

does the smoke contaminate the product blowing up into the air like that ?
@TackleTheDog

It doesnt do anything. It just looks bad. Besides, if any of the smoke was to wind up on the crop, they go through many washing stages, and then are frozen right after. Shouldnt be worse than a farmer applying herbicide and fertilizer 🤷🏼

@barnyardaerials

Over all they are essentially the same combine in terms of size. Cleaning area / capacity is slightly increased on the S790, Biggest differences are technology improvements and minor design changes to improve grain samples.

I started with Gleaners combines, but when Duetz destroyed Allis Chalmers I traded for a John Deere, which we ran for years , had 4 John Deeres, had enough of the break downs poor service John Deere taking our dealer and leaving us a very poor dealership, so I switched to New Holland. Best move in farming I ever made!

" A look into how cucumbers start the journey to become pickles and relish. " How can a cucumber become a pickle ? And by the look, aren't these pickles they are harvesting ? Cucumbers are larger, no ?
@barnyardaerials
@barnyardaerials 7 жыл бұрын
lepaul26 thank you for the reply and very good question. Pickles and relish start as a cucumber. Once the cucumber had been placed in a pickling brine and left to soak for a few weeks, it becomes a pickle ! Relish is pickles diced really fine and mixed with other ingredients to crest what you end up putting on your burgers or hot dogs !
@lepaul26
@lepaul26 7 жыл бұрын
I found the problem ! I speak Dutch and when I translated Pickle to Dutch I got "Augurk" but that is actually a wrong translation! After some googling I found the right translation for "Augurk" is "Gherkin" ! And that is what we are used to eat in pickled form (so in vinegar) They are from the same vegetable family but a gherkin is smaller and more wrinkled
@lepaul26
@lepaul26 7 жыл бұрын
So my question should have been: Are you sure they are harvesting cucumbers and not gherkins ?! :-)

I cannot believe modern agromachinery. How in the world does the machine separated peas from the shell? Does anyone know?
@GC16199
@GC16199 7 жыл бұрын
Maloy7800 The peas go basically in a big rotating drum, which has holes in it. Inside the drum are 3 or 4 rotating axles that open up the pods. The peas go out through the holes in the drum by centrifugal force. The rest of the sticks and leaves come out the back off the drum. And then there are 3 more separation and cleaning stages. I have been driving the machines 6 seasons and called them factories on wheels. Each rotating part is hydraulically driving and has to be adjusted on field and crop conditions.

Seems like a huge waste since plants produce many cucumbers over a few weeks.
@barnyardaerials
@barnyardaerials 7 жыл бұрын
There are two types of plants. The type that will produce a harvest through out an entire season, typically the type that home gardeners would grow. Then there is the type that will produce ONE round of harvest, this is that type of plant. Same goes with tomatoes.
