For starters, don't wax/polish in direct sunlight. Reason: the dried wax will leave circle patterns. Plus, the wax adheres better on a cool surface.

what a butcher for one 1st you need a light coat let it tac dry than spray another coat. Now if that's lacquer vinal paint it will dry if it's enamel it will stay gooey for a long time. And OMG it's not that hard to take the door handle off or at least mask it
