when doing tutorials avoid speaking too fast; the point is to let everyone whatever his level learn something useful and for that, he needs to understand every word :)

Quick question, how do you get your sim camera to move in that way? Is it an addon or?
@ThomasGrillo6 ай бұрын
I'm legally blind, so I guess I'll just have to stick to VFR local flights. Everything on the charts looks so tiny. LOL Thanks for the tutorial. :)

Bro how are you doing the head movement? VR or TrackIR? It’s sick!

Unable to slow my plane down, push in throttle, mixture, nothing works., when flying a 152. Or any other plane for that matter. Anyone?

I am not a pilot... I am WAY to young to be one but I have dreams that I will fly planes one day. Anyway, this video really helped me, thanks a lot! I've always had trouble with how rough I land. I can land, but it's always kinda rough.

I realize I'm 3 years late, but after 10:44, he confirmed your readback correct despite your having said "7130" instead of "7310". Thanks for the vid! Taking the plunge shortly! Super helpful!
@fauxflights77 Жыл бұрын
The funny thing is you said 7130 again when entering it into the transponder at 11:09 despite your fingers putting in the correct 7310.

I subscribed! Ironic but I love flying in MSFS, yet I hate flying in real life 😅

You got the squawk code incorrect at 10:45. He said 7310, and you read it as 7130 but he still said correct lol.

This would be a lot more useful if you redo it at a time of day and approach direction that would keep the instruments visible instead of being in shadows and so unreadable. Thanks for the video.

I practised with the bush trips, they help me a lot with my landing! Plus I always fly with the hard settings so that when my plane crashes, overspeeds, that's it lol!

I need more video on these type of techniques! It's really helpful. btw, I am preparing for a cadet pilot assessment now, and I've been playing this game struggling haha

You keep hearing the "grapevine" say how much VATSIM controllers do NOT want to handle emergencies so I'm glad this one played along. More sophisticated add-ons for MSFS are now coming with general wear and tear and very real possibilities of non-normal operation, so I'm kind of hoping that the controllers will warm up to the idea.

I'm convinced they couldn't have made a more confusing system of airspaces had they tried (whoever the THEY was back in the day)

"vpilot notification for text messages" Oh so THAT is what it is. f'ing annoying especially since it plays over the system audio NOT the vpilot selected audio which means it comes over my sim audio which is really loud instead of my headphone audio which is lower.

Hi great video. Just a question, when you are starting the final to landing you say “you are come in in a crab angle…” (4:56). I understand this crab angle is the one created by the weathervane effect, not a crab angle you created. Am I right?. I ask because before I always understood this crab angle you need to create it changing the heading by x degrees, but now I tried I realize the plane itself because of the weathervane effect is “naturally” in a crab angle.

i heard you mention rudder slide on floor, but i think too much weathervane effect after landing in msfs, imo. thanks for video. happens in heavier aircraft, like longitude, as well.

Seriously you deserve a medal...!! I've been trying to land for days, watched a few videos but I sucked. My landings are seriously improved after this video. Whatever you said was gold. "We are landing by trying not to land" - Wow that works like a charm. Really thanks man..!! +1 Sub for you...

Am I the only one having considerable “jumps” because of the weather injection in flight? It is awful, my altitude change about 1000 feet.

Thanks for this. Embarrassed to say I've plugged in over 100 hours in MSFS 2020 and I still often bounce while trying to land gently. Good to get back to fundamentals. Appreciate the clear instruction!
