The entire show was phenomenal, but this was a highlight for me. Hearing this, sheep, in the flesh, run like hell, and Roger’s newer solo stuff was really special

Folks, I was there. I dragged my suitcase from the airport taxi directly to the ticket window and knew it was a sold out show but they had one leftover VIP ticket for 40 damn dollars that was balcony center. The whole night was strange and beautiful. Marty Stuart and his Superlatives killed it hard. Merle was on his game, and Willie played along. Best thing I've ever seen on accident or on purpose. Wish I had a full video but we were all just in awe of what we were seeing.

This show was so amazing ill never forget it. Everyone there shared in the love and prob came out better humans. RIP to Bernie and TM Stevens. Watching Bernie and Razor rock duelin minimoogs almost shook the house down.

Coming up on the 50th anniversary (April 21, 1974) of my first Steely Dan concert at the U. of Toledo. They broke my heart by not releasing a concert album from that tour, and then by refusing to tour for the next 19 years. Had to follow band members Jeff "Skunk" Baxter and Michael McDonald over to The Doobie Brothers to get my live music fix for the rest of the decade.
