You can survive a single Grim Reaper rocket - it will deal 52 damage. However, this 52 damage applies at any range within the explosive radius. Plus, that's still a two hit kill, and the Grim Reaper has up to 3 chances to get a follow-up rocket in quick-succession to seal the deal. Direct impact from it is also still an instadeath. Another big Flak Jacket nuisance is vehicle or explosive barrel + grenade combos. If you're close, the combo is usually enough to kill you instantly from 100 health outright. I am super pissed at Treyarch's challenges for this perk, because the throw back effect is extremely fun. The fire bonus is nice, and the two partner very well with the main explosive resistance effect. Flak Jacket Pro makes you resilient to so much shit all at once that you feel much more vulnerable and squishy without it.

1:58 he kills the guy who is above him with shotgun but it's not precisely hit on the center of the screen. which means,it's confirmed that buckshot shotguns is cheating similar to explosives because it have bigger hitbox compared to any weapon,in bo2 there is KSG slug shotgun where you must hit the enemy precisely on the center of the screen while ADS which is more fair. The excuse why most shotgun in cod don't have slug is because "it's not unique because it's just sniper without a scope" i rather get killed by slug shotguns rather buckshot shotguns because slug shotguns requires better aim similar to snipers unlike buckshot shotguns.

One thing that I didn't realize for a long time was that the ACR actually has longer range than the M4A1 and F2000. Most assault rifles in MW2 have the same range drop-offs, with the FAL being a unique exception with it being shorter. However, the ACR essentially has the range of the BO1 M16. In addition, the fire rate loss compared to the M4A1 is absolutely negligible due to frame rounding. Both rifles also have the same lightning quick reload speeds. I hate to say it, but the ACR truly does completely outclass the M4A1. While the M4A1 is a really accurate gun, the ACR's accuracy is absolutely legendary, and still remains the gold standard for accuracy in a COD game. Its accuracy advantage lets it absolutely shit on most other weapons at long range. That ability to confidently fire far faster than your enemy cannot be overstated, especially in a game like MW2 which features longer ranges of combat on average.

What makes the recoil unpopular is that there's no value kicking down. The fact that the gun kicks up every single time with varying intensity, with the potential for a 60 upward, means you can almost never feel comfortable firing this thing full auto. It's something that is rarely present on full-auto weapons, and it almost always ends in the gun having a bad reputation. The only reason the ACR 6.8 and MP7 in MW3 avoided that fate was because their recoil values were so small that they could get away with it. It took me a long, LONG time to finally give the gun some respect. This thing requires very strict fire control to keep on target. If you're not at close range, you cannot fire this thing full auto comfortably. You'll just fly off target and waste bullets since this thing climbs up on every single shot. When you learn to burst or tap fire, this gun's accuracy becomes far more manageable, and you can actually take advantage of your ammo and ranged damage like a true LMG can. This thing is basically a semi-auto rifle when I use it. A semi-auto rifle with an 80 round drum that can delete enemies behind cover.

It would seem that Treyarch buffed the Masterkey partway through the game's life-cycle. I say that because, for whatever reason, the Commando's Masterkey did not get them. It only has a twelve shot loadout instead of sixteen, and more importantly, the hip-fire crosshairs grow when on the move. Basically, never use the Masterkey on the Commando. As for the Flamethrower, a VERY big thing to keep in mind when using it is if the enemy is approaching you or backing up from you. The difference in the enemy's movement will highly change how quickly the flames reach the enemy. If the enemy is approaching, that's great! They'll get hit extra fast and won't be able to escape. But, if they're moving away from you, tough shit, because they might walk out of range, and if they're still in range, it will take forever for them to actually get hit. As for both attachments, I think they get far too bad of a rap from the community. Keep in mind that it doesn't change anything about the rifle it's attached to! You still have a stock rifle, and that will still be a powerful tool. It also helps with going on killstreaks, because your loadout now has an additional ammo source for it to draw from in order to kill enemies. Being able to refrain from using your own rifle's ammo pool when using the Flamethrower or Masterkey is the biggest strength of both attachments. Getting a kill or two with the underbarrel in one life is going to make a difference in the long run.

For some reason, Treyarch thought that the way to make the M1911 work was to make it a slick-handling weapon. Its aim speed is even faster than the other pistols, and the sprint out speed is faster than other pistols, especially when used Dual Wield. With Extended Mags, you have a high-capacity, aggressive handgun that works better than the Makarov for running and gunning. Whether or not you consider that actually useful... that's another story. Also, for some reason, Dual Wield makes the M1911 gain the magical power to fire as fast as the ASP.

I really do think that Hardened Pro was severely slept on. The resistance to flinch was huge and made it so enemy gunfire barely fouled your aim. The extra penetration power was also a very powerful benefit, allowing you to rip through many walls with ease. Both aspects of the perk help campers a lot. Being able to shoot through a wall is a great answer to enemies who escape your view. With Hardened, you'd be amazed with how many walls can crumble to the might of your bullets. The Pro version is a big help to any medium or long range weapon, which campers primarily use. I think Hardened Pro being split into two lesser abilities in MW3 was a good choice, especially as weapon proficiencies. Impact is a balanced standalone, just like the base version of Hardened was. Focus had to be nerfed so that other weapon proficiencies weren't outclassed, and frankly, I think Focus still does outclass many other weapon proficiencies.

Fun thing about the MP40 is that it was actually going to be a killstreak in Black Ops Multiplayer, but it was scrapped. If you know where to look, you can find the Multiplayer announcer voice files announcing its presence. It was a Multiplayer presence away from being available in all 3 parts of Black Ops, between the Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Wild.

Another big thing that Ghost does not counter is the Motion Sensor. Neither base nor pro version will prevent you from showing up on that.

Decided come back to this channel again after all these years & this topic is still relevant today. Think it's so iconic how much CoD had changed. Nowadays, seems like this fanbase only want small maps/medium only, & if a map is too big, no one likes it, personally I feel Black Ops 1 had the perfect map size for all play styles & I understand what amish means now. Not to say their isn't an argument for big maps, but a lot of new CoD don't seem to get it right, personally I don't really like small maps, but a good size map with some room & high & low ground like in old CoD days, it gives more wiggle room in maps so can change what path you wanna go instead either go down one lane or the other lane & probably just get shot around the corner. Miss the channel Amish, hope your doing well mate!

35-25 damage profile doesn't look bad on paper, but there's a lot of fringe cases where it does cost you. As you mentioned, no two headshot kill is niche, and I agree. However, performance in Hardcore being reduced is not. The Enfield loses the guaranteed one shot kill at all ranges in Hardcore, something that is available in very similar assault rifles. Now what you don't touch up on: range and performance through walls. Because most assault rifles have the same range values, this means that due to raw damage difference, you lose roughly eight meters of three shot kill range. The performance through walls is also greatly affected. Keep in mind that a 33-24 damage profile equals a four to five shot kill, which is eerily similar numbers wise to 35-25 damage profile is. As you are always losing damage to some degree when shooting through walls, you are almost guaranteed to be needing additional shots when firing through them compared to a 40-30 damage profile, which has some wiggle room with regards to how much damage it can lose. The 35-25 damage profile has a lot of small things against it which adds up to the bigger picture. The damage will haunt you at certain times. Even if you aren't always shooting through walls, fighting at range, or getting headshots, the point is that these scenarios _do happen._

Hardline Pro is such an enormous buff to Care Packages. A 4 killstreak that has two chances to roll something that can be useful is a real nice reward for 4 kills. Being able to do it with friendly packages as well is also really cool, helps you be a team player when your teammates don't get good Care Package contents.

Personally, I think the biggest problem with the RC-XD stems from its hurtbox. It may be a fragile little thing, but I swear, trying to shoot it even when it's not boosting almost never works. That hurtbox is evil. Practically impossible to hit on purpose! As such, there are way too many instances where you can simply forget about trying to actually flank around and stay out of harm's way. You can drive straight at most of your enemies with reckless abandon, and there won't be a damn thing they can do about that. It is so infuriating when you are trying your best to shoot it, only to waste a full mag and now you're dead. In addition, Flak Jacket is not a consistent counter to it. RC-XDs can still kill Flak Jacket users outright, which is horseshit. Even if it doesn't kill the Flak Jacket user outright, you're still likely delivering 80 to 90 damage on their doorstep and placing them in mortal danger. Finally, the RC-XD sorta invalidates Valkyrie Rockets. Takes 7 kills to get, need to summon via Care Package, can be stolen from you, you can die while using the first rocket and lose your second rocket, all for.... a harder to control pair of flying RC-XDs that deal more damage and get invalidated by lag. I think the RC-XD is just a bit too brainless of a killstreak to use in this game. Black Ops 2 did a good job with making it worse, by making it take more kills to get (on average), and making it bigger and slower, making it much easier to destroy.

God I hate this thing. Its ability to defeat Flak Jacket infuriates me, and yet, it feels like junk whenever I try to use it. Trying to fight a crossbow user is like trying to fight a fly. They'll be tough to kill since they'll only be using it from far away usually, and if they hit, you're doomed. But shoot them just before they fire, and they'll wildly miss. Do a little dodge, and their explosive that sticks to the wall will rarely do them any good. It's a total nuisance that doesn't even feel rewarding for enemies to use.

Although the reloads on the Olympia are constant and annoying, I still can't pass up on Steady Aim. The shot spread in conjunction with the Olympia's damage is lethal. One shot kills are so much more common with the added hip-fire accuracy. You can ignore ever aiming down the sight, preserving your mobility. I hate turning into a statue with shotguns while aiming down the sight, and in this game, aiming is only for the Stakeout as far as I'm concerned. Much more importantly, Steady Aim will reduce the amount of times you need both barrels, and it will reduce the amount of times where both barrels isn't enough. At its core, the Olympia is strictly a duelling weapon due to its limited capacity. Steady Aim helps me win more of those one on one duels. I have a lot of fun with this shotgun, even though my performance with it is really bad. I do a much better job with the SPAS.

One of the weirdest things about the CZ75 is that Dual Wield actually uses quick drop/raise. As far as I can tell, it's the only Dual Wield pistol in the game like that. However, it also has a _very_ long sprint out time (50% longer than all other pistols), so you have to be extra careful not to be caught when sprinting. It also has additional recoil when used Dual Wield, all of the recoil values get 10 points bigger. I didn't think the extra recoil made too much of a difference, but considering the guns pull up with every shot, it may be something. Might also explain why Dual Wield Full Auto CZ75's in the campaign have so much recoil, because you're getting two different recoil amplifiers. Because of it, I actually like the Dual Wield CZ75 as a quick CQC bullet hose. It allows you to hold yourself surprisingly well up close compared to a less nimble primary, but you can't do a lot of running around with it lest you get caught mid-sprint.

Although i didnt love the game, i think Ghosts did the underbarrel thing the best. They took up the lethal slot in classes, but because of that, were bound to the grenade button instead of the d-pad, and also removed the switching delay. Made underbarrels MUCH more useful.

thermal is actually quite a good choice for taking advantage of the ranged ability of the AK. Thermal sights remove the visual kick and dont have the front post in the way.

Yup, pretty much. He overrates the Grip way too much here. While the Grip helps, it doesn't do anything to reduce the recoil per shot. The best way to use the Uzi is to adopt a playstyle that aims down the sight as infrequently as possible. It's not completely possible, as certain engagements will require precision aim no matter what, but you can find ways to force engagements which allow you to avoid the putrid sights and mitigate the recoil through hip-firing.
