Rapid Fire Review - USR

This sniper has been requested by a lot of people it seems, so I wanted to knock this one out early. The snipers definitely have a stronger role in Ghosts than previous games. The maps are HUGE. Mastering a weapon like the USR can only help.

Hey Amish, I've always wondered since back to your Black Ops days, you know how you throw in those clips that serve as comic reliefs or when you try to prove a point? How do you always find the perfect one to mesh with the situation? Do you just recall a certain phrase in a film and hunt it down so you can add it to your video? I hope they fix it in a patch. I mean, something similar happened with the AKS-74u, but then again, alot of people call ith the AK-74u so this just must be a spelling error by the Devs because no one calls the real life pistol the Mp433, other than me, right?

It might be intentional. Its possible that they want an excuse to make it slightly different than the real gun. For example, I don't think 10 rounds is standard for the 443

Hey Amish, from what I've seen (haven't played the game, probably never will, don't plan on getting it) quickscoping looks hella easy in this game. I don't understand, they finally bring back the big map design, and yet still insist that snipers have a close quarters advantage. I don't snipe very often, quite rarely in fact, and when I do I tend to play a tactical role, picking off long range targets, and yet in MW2, MW3 and BO2 when a CQC situation, without even trying I would get the kill, and feel cheap about it. From your experience do you find the snipers relatively balanced, or are they too forgiving? Have you gotten any BS deaths to a sniper and/or gotten cheap, easy kills whilst sniping? Because at this rate I don't think they'll ever fix quickscoping.

huh.....i'm surprised nobody's famas-ing the thermal scope.i can think of three different ways it's OP. 1 the thing acts as a extra kick in the zoom department. 2 you see people who use what ever "ghost" has become effectively craping on the entire point of said perk. 3 the whit is so stick out (yes i know it's saposed to) but in other games it was sutle, now? THEY LOOK LIKE HUMAN MARSHMALLOWS!

Amish... you are aware of the downsides of the chrome-lined barrel, right? It makes your weapon sway faster. Also, the added hitboxes are seemingly bugged: they aren't symmetric. Drift0r did a video on it, you should check it out for future reference.

Silencer is very usable on this gun and IMO better than Chrome Barrel. I say this because I did some testing of the USR vs the L115 and Lynx. With no attachments both were better than the USR. With Chrome Barrel the USR gains some extra kill zones and matches the one shot kills of the other 2 with Chrome Barrel. With a silencer the USR skill kills from the head to the crotch in one shot and the L115 and Lynx both loose limb kills which again makes them no more or less capable of one shot kills with the attachment equipped than the USR. What this also means is that the L115 is completely worthless compared to the Lynx and USR if you plan to put either the Silencer or Chrome Barrel on them. I feel I should also mention the VKS as it seem like the logical choice for silenced sniping with the built in silencer but it doesn't have the quicker ADS of the USR and has a damage drop off that lowers the one shot kills to just the head and chest at long range.

I love the fact that people use snipers the right way in Ghosts. Don't dislike quickscoping, but it can be annoying when you are on a 23 killstreak with the cbj and you lose up-close. LOL I was passed.

When you say 42 rounds in the maximum you can hold, does the 42 include the mag in the rifle too or no? You should show it like 7/35 if its 42 total or 7/49 if 42 is your maximum reserve ammo.

If you review a map, Review Stonehaven. LMGs and Snipers rule here. Its either very annoying, or very fun, depending on what weapons your using. And also Assault rifles are decent here.

Seriously, why use this weapon when you can use the l115 that has the same damage as the usr does with the crome lined barrel without the chrome lined barrel. The l115 is a sniper with a free chrome barrel so you can use other attachments and in reality a chrome lined barrel actually should increase accuracy not damage. Call of duty logic is miserable.

Actually, chrome lined barrels decrease accuracy, and only increase the longevity of the barrel from corrosion and pitting. That said, yet COD logic is ass.

Because you can't quick scopez with it as well little kids just can't snipe normal it has to be 360 c4 quad kem strike kill cam scope why not just take snipers out and keep marksmen riffle or make it like black op 1 snipers blows my mind.

I don't like the chrome barrel attachment it doesn't help the damage to make up for the added inaccuracy. I know it is weird but I get more hit markers with chrome barrel than without.

If you put three round burst on any of the assault rifles they basically turn into the MS BS. Try giving it a shot.

honestly, I prefer the silencer on this weapon as in my experience with it (as well as snipers in previous CoD's) it is not often that I hit someone in the arms or legs.
