Does anyone in the world besides Me just want to put the old stock full length springs back in? Would this work for those? (They are a bit longer than these)

I'm in the process of swapping my Sn95 into my Foxbody. Is their anything I should worry about in terms of Ac/Heat and Steering hole modification?
@cashmoneyv197436ify6 жыл бұрын
Nice car I would love to have them front seats for my 87 nice build like tail lights but are you going to fill the other holes up with metal or do you have something to go into that spot by the rear tag love the sn95 dash hope you move ur inside door handles back so u can open the door from the inside! I seen them on beautiful car's they have to open the door from the outside! Nice work

100% bullshit that it’s harder than an original spring . Obviously he’s never done the original spring. I have the same tool there’s no way of getting the jack under neath

What kind of leds did you use for the tail lights? I've been looking for some like that but can't find them.

was this car in muscle mustangs and fast ford's it kinda looks like one I saw in the magazine because the taillights look like there shortened like the one in the magazine and it was from nc?
@mechanicmoore7 жыл бұрын
Chris Farmer yes sir. I add the ttops and a few other things by the time it made it in the magazine.

Hey would a 2001 k member fit a 1990 foxbody?
@Elver_Galarga_jugo7 жыл бұрын
Oscar Gomez yes, the motor mounts pads just wont work with a pushrod and its moror mounts. anything from a 94-04 mustang will fit a foxbody suspension wise
@r.g.5.0.h.o.516 жыл бұрын
Yes a push rod motor will fit an 01 k member been there done it little tight but will fit

I really loved your build. To use a daily driver and to save some gas the 4.6 was a pretty good choice. If you were planning to go for speed then a 5.0 would've been a better call. Just out of curiosity was that crashed Mustang yours or was it from something like Craigslist?
@Elver_Galarga_jugo7 жыл бұрын
Link the Duelist the 302 blocks like to split at ~500whp, 4.6 will make that and more without any problems. and a PI 2V makes 260hp out of the box, and the T5 is notoriously weak in comparison to a T45, TR3650 or a T56, the auto trans for.tge modulars are also tons better than the pushrod trans when it comes to a street/strip trans because of the O/D.

What are the little spacers you put in when bolting up the spindles to the new strut? Thanks

Is the dash replacement a direct bolt on,or did you have to modify it to fit?

The 2v 4.6 is the slowest engine ever made should of gone with the 4v dohc out of the cobra
@befirstorbelast64218 жыл бұрын
Can't say I like the 4.6 swap, but I got to give you lot's of credit from start to finish, cause that was lot's of work and effort. End of the day as long you like it, that is most important.

Why would you put a 4.6 in an older pony? Never understood it...the 4.6 was a shitty platform
@mechanicmoore8 жыл бұрын
That 4.6 will bust any stock pushrod you put beside it....and yeah its stock.
@cooterbaby33608 жыл бұрын
+mechanicmoore What planet do you live on?? That was one of fords worst mistakes with the mustang until they charged it. Dont get me wrong nice build but why the 4.6? Whyyyy
@cooterbaby33608 жыл бұрын
+mechanicmoore More expensive to build and a hell of alot harder to make power. Ive worked for ford for many years trust me im not some random shmo.
