@jpadilla05 79-93, 94-98 and 99-04 have the same McPherson style suspension setup and same chassis platform... Basically the SN95 and New-Edge models are still on the Fox-Body chassis and parts are interchangeable and process is the same.

After seeing this I went to H.D and got a 3//16 x 1 1/2 piece of steel bar and made one.It works great.! Total cost $7.99. and about 1 hrs work. Tools req'd vise,10lb sledge hacksaw,10in mill file. and drill. If you would lke to know how I did this e-mail me and i'll give you specifics.

Man I wish I could have seen thie video about a week ago. I recently changed the front lower control arm bushings on a 97 mustang. I sure would like to meet the dim wit engineer ( graduated last in her class) that placed the front bolt of the arm in such a position that you have to drop the rack and pinion to get it out. The rear bolt only comes out after you remove a body bolt. (It's the easy one.) Ford ,glad to see you'r hiring the future's DIMMEST STARS. Horse but award to you.111

the factory spring is a lot tougher to install. and also why would you ever lower one of there I am trashing the Eiback springs and had a set of custom factory made. I had coil spring specialties make a awesome set way better than Eibach.

Javier Miranda No you loosen the nut and pull it back thru the bottom of the control arm.

Cliff Rogers He put the spring in correctly. There is a notch in the spring cup that the end of the coil spring rests in.

Awesome video man and great tool,i have a 91 gt and im almost positive this wont work with stock springs being that they are much longer that lowering ones plus ive tried the jack trick and its just not doable but for a guy thats lowering his car the tool will be invaluable plus you explain everything really detailed,thanks again!!!

I have used it to pit stock springs in with no problems. I take the strut out of the top. It will raise the car up a little but it will work. Or it has worked for me every time.

the only way I was able to get the springs in on the front of my 1998 was without the isolators... but I can hear the springs making noise...
