suggestion 2. let the pve players do it if they want. Were bug testing for pvp if you think about it? also i really respect that you went and made this response video for real.

I know this wasn't the focus of your video, but arean exp should not carry over to the main game. This was my first wipe. I started with the standard edition of the game playing pvp and loved it, quickly filling my stash. So i upgraded my version of the game for the stash space, going all out and buying the unheard, because i knew i was loving this game and was here to stay. after buying the new version and playing for a few days, hopped into arena to polish up my pvp skills, figure out keybinds that i like etc. loved it and ended up playing a long session of it. Was astonished when i came back to my main account the next day and was level 22 instantly gaining access to flea. It was useful sure, but now i dont even feel pressure to do quests besides leveling up my traders, etc. at this point I only know ground zero and shoreline. It feels too easy having the two systems linked, like infinite money/exp farm i can fall back on when I start going down.

My opinion there was tarkov pve just not legal one. people turn to pve cuz of the state of game, cheaters, rating, no incentive to do pvp besides quests. casual players dont wanna sweat to enjoy tarkov. cheaters are out of control. pvp mechanic is wacky with delays desync etc its not enjoyable and stop pretending it is.

I think wipe is needed regardless of PvP and PvE, but I think we need to see if BSG can come up with a new creative way to wipe the game. I think a Prestige "opt-in" wipe with cosmetic and fun bonuses that promote wiping the account could be interesting. Maybe I will prestige full wipe, but if a level 23 who barely has time to play, doesn't want to wipe, they keep their level and trader progression. But still the economy resets, and all stashes reset.

the only thing that ruines pve and my overall tarkov experince being toxicly fucked (i got 8k hours in tarkov) dont judge me ive played almost every wipe gotten kappa and tracksuit a bunch but cheating pandemic is too much but pve doesnt get main events wich is sad

prestige system...don t come with that pvp wipe bullcrap on pve...you want wipes you play pvp ... easy

I play maybe 5-6 hours of tarkov a week, pve will last me till I die or the game does.

for someone thats new yes there going to struggle. your still a couple thousand hour player that knows what there doing. to say that something takes away from the experience when you already have that experience is unfair. however yeah, they are missing out on that high of getting out of a pvp raid

Getting on PVP right after wipe to try and keep up with everyone’s gear sounds so stressfull. I guess if you’re streamer and doing this for money you will not have same view as someone who works 45 hours a week and goes home to enjoy Tarkov. Streamers talk from their point of view not everyone else. All is good. But PVE is a massive win for Tarkov.

I agree with you somewhat. And I will admit I have only 250hrs in tarkov and I have friends that play pve and I have friends that don't. I personally main pve. I work full time and have a wife and kids. I don't have time to grind like you have too in pvp. BUT... I play pvp with my friends often. And I think the switch between pvp and pve is a good way to still get the old fashion tarkov experience like you're talking about. PVE teaches you the basics but when it comes to fighting real people the only way to learn is pvp. Ai pmcs have aim bot but other than that they are just better scavs imo. I don't think it'll kill tarkov tho and my reasoning is simple. All those people that tried tarkov before pve that quit because they couldn't learn the game, or it was too hard allows them to have an easier start in some ways.

i understand why you think PvE release should be staggered to give PvP the content edge but you make one logical error. the people who play PvE have no actual desire to play PvP, it will bring a minimal if any amount of PvE players over to PvP at cost to them and just make them hate the PvP side of the community for it.

if you like pve then you should go to spt instead you can customize it to what ever you like theres silly mods realistic mods and overall its just good

i think pve shouldnt be treated worse than pvp regarding content. pve can potentially even bring more people to tarkov through an easier learning experience who would never touch normal tarkov. normal pvp just takes too much of your time to be really enjoyable in my opinion (i also have a bad pc which makes normal tarkov worse). i like arena though where the consequences of getting killed by players is not as big of deal as in normal tarkov pvp and considering the cheating problem, pve is just more enjoyable to me at the moment.

Okay Lew I understand your point but you need to understand that not everyone wants to do PVP. I've played a few wipes and I've had my fun but personally I'm not a PVP player, I don't really enjoy fighting other players in this game. PVE has allowed me to enjoy Tarkov as a fun "Realistic" tactical extraction shooter. I don't need to worry about another player who has more time to play the game than I do to just murder me because they have a higher advantage in gear. Honestly you more than likely will never convert the players who play PVE to play PVP unless they get curious, because some of us just don't want that and that's okay. I don't think limiting PVE player's access to content is a good move either, however I'd say what they could do is just lower the amount of XP PVE players get or increase how much XP is required to level.

The stress of losing it all and messing it up because of that stress is LITERALLY what kills me MOST of the time in this game.
