I don't understand why people think this song is sexist. They say he is bitter towards women. I feel like he's more bitter towards society and his parents for forcing him to marry people who don't want to get married yet. He doesn't want the girls to be pinned down and not be young. He says, "My girls will walk in the sun." It's very obvious he wants his girl to enjoy life If anything, he is more if a simp 😂😂

So much music has been covered by other people that the general public is unaware of. It takes a little searching, and sometimes having to be told, but if you look hard enough you can find the originals. Robert hazard was one of the originals. He helped form the sound of the time. It's not a surprise that this song was covered by someone else.

Wow, it is totally different, it sounds like the Ramones recorded it. However, the basic melody structure is already present here. Cindy totally re - arranged it and became a worldwide hit. RIP Robert Hazard (1948 - 2008)
