Don't be so tense when playing, it takes a little practice but being more confident genuinely improves my longevity in most songs, I can play Unsainted and Ride the Lightning continuously for hours non stop and barely get tired. Battery and One on Lead (at least the riffs) also seem more complicated than they are, you just need to play the game "softly" if that makes sense. Don't press the keys/buttons too hard.
