Ooh now I want to see a what if story where Vergil and Credo are rivals/allies and duel in there spare time. If anything, Vergil uncovering Sanctus's corruption and being the one to put an end to it all to honor his father's demonic heritage has some potential I would think. What a reunion, though, if Vergil stayed in Fortuna, raised Nero, and was more like a protector because now he has the family and community that he was once denied and after some time, Dante hears about a katana wielding warrior who could be an interesting challenge.
