Chris, thank you for your wonderful videos. When you decide to split your KZbin videos into bike packing & wildlife, please let us know. I certainly will follow both, as will many others. I'm glad the name changes on your channel didn't make me lose you..

Nice to see all the wildlife along the way including those pesky nesting magpies the cyclists nemesis 😅
@ChrisRishworthАй бұрын
Thanks, The magpie at first was attacking me. Then I'm like why don't I video it. As I did this the magpie stopped. On the way back as Soon as I saw the magpie. I got the Gopro and the selfie stick out. Felt safer this also.😃

Awesome Chris, nice to see another adventure. Can't believe the number of feral species in NSW and Vic parks. Always seen deer and horse up there but never a pig until now.
@ChrisRishworthАй бұрын
Thanks, Yes this was the first time I saw a pig. It ran across the track in front of me. The day before while walking around my campsite. I came across lots of diggings, like heaps. I thought it must be old diggings as they shut the park for 2 months to shoot them. I guess lots survived.
@alandicker5729Ай бұрын
If you witness this bird behavior, can it be interpreted as an omen?
@ChrisRishworthАй бұрын
It sees it's refection in the window and thinks its another male. Omen if you like ?.
@edzeppelin933Ай бұрын
Great adventure mate! Id love to do some bikepacking in the high country. Are you allowed to sleep in the huts, or only in emergencies? Such a pity to see Deer and pigs out there.
@ChrisRishworthАй бұрын
Thanks, Not sure on the rules with the huts. I just see everbody else sleeping in them. There was a storm so that was good enough for me.
@frozenraguАй бұрын
Besides the ruggedness of some of the tracks, this has to be the peak (see what i did there) alpine bikepacking route in victoria (or aus)

You're becoming a regular on that Grey Mare trail! Those 29ers must have helped with that annoyingly bumpy track.

You must have a stomach of steel. No way would i drink from most of, if not all of the streams all the way from jagungal to limestone; without treating it first. Bloody feral horses and the rest 😢
@ChrisRishworthАй бұрын
The stream was flowing very fast. It was a risk I've taken lots. Did get bad water once on the other side of the park.

Well done Chris. Where the road cutting is, is that the Alpine Way? It is a steep road even for a vehicle let alone on a bicycle 😂 This trip, did you double check that you had your wallet safely packed with you? An excellent adventure to the northern section of the Jagungal Wilderness Area of the Kosciuszko National Park
@ChrisRishworthАй бұрын
Thanks, It's Tooma Road. Goes to Cabramurra. It has a locked gate until 3 November, which is okay for bikes. I did take my wallet but wasn't near shops. 😀 Try not to do that again.

You’re got an innovative rig- talking about your 3rd wheel. Also, I’ve seen pictures of the butterfly handlebars but your the first dude I’ve seen that actually had these bars on their bike. I have a touring bicycle, myself. However, I’am pretty sure I wouldn’t be up to crossing a desert. Om!
