Many years ago I was along the upper Buffalo River near the Catherine Station and a dingo trotted along the opposite river bank oblivious to us on the other bank. Like you, we watched it and eventually a single clap of the hands startled it and the dog had a look of pure amazement as if it realised if we were hunters it would have been history. It merged back into the undergrowth and we didn’t see it again that weekend.

That is a well fed Dingo. Too many times I see Dingo's so skinny you can count their ribs. But not this one. Where ever he lives, must be full of food he can catch.

I get emails from Falls Creek and they have just issued an update about dingos being sighted in the village.
