Great! Beautiful! 🎉 I want to buy train this year for my christmas village. Do you use H0 gauge for lemax or bigger? I was thinking of buying Lemax train or H0 Piko train... Not sure what to do...

It depends on your preferences. The Lemax trains are only working on batteries, while model trains such as Piko can be powered using a transformer. If you go for Piko or Marklinn, you need the H0 scale indeed. For me, I would go for a Lemax train as I only put it on while filming or showing it to visitors. Also, the Lemax train designs fit more with the rest of the village.

Your villages are so perfect. Like the terrain is just beautiful. The lighting is perfect. How you do the caves is ingenious. And then the snow is always put on to perfection. I hope one day I can get my terrain to be 10% of that. I REALLY, REALLY wish someplace in the US would put up displays like this. It would be amazing to see in person. The best villages I've ever seen.

I agree it is perfection! I too wish someone in the U.S. would create a village walk through with a retail area! We have minimal physical stores that carry lemax and the ones that do in our area only carry a fraction of merchandise.

Prachtig weer Mike! En ik heb nu de boomschors gevonden om te verwerken als gebergte. Ik vraag me alleen af; hoe heb je het bevestigd én waarin/waaraan...? Zit er piepschuim onder of toch iets stevigers?? 😅

We gebruiken meestal pallets (kleine, halve en hele) als basis voor het display en daar schroeven we het schors aan vast.

You should go to Osdorp too. They are great. With the real "Les Gets" egg ski lift gondel ride. I hope they do it still as I am now living in Chile. Have a fun 🎄 2024

Looks beautiful. It's sad that the buildings I have seen this year are SO small and the paint job on them is AWFUL. Will be looking for older resales.
