How awesome is this!! Doing an entire mini-set on a single device. Just purchased the sampler version. Good to know what can be done with this amazing machine!

I think the Electribe has a really good bass sound. Thanks for using the sub bass so we can hear the heavy bass tones. A lot of grove boxes miss this attribute. Keep up the good work!

Very well done! Is really really tempting me to rebuy a used Electribe (to replace the one I sold last year, regretfully). If only it had a wavetable osc for more future’ish type bass..... This and the better stuff I made with it always sounded like my favorite music of the 90’s.....

How long did it take to set this up? Must be lots and lots of sets you saved there, since you change them periodically and transition into each other, before moving to the next set.

I tend to just pick up and play when I have a bit of free time so I don’t have a good sense of how long making the patterns took if I’m honest. Some come together pretty quickly, others might be sitting on there for a long time, and just messed with every now and then. Thanks for checking it out 😎

I asked so many people this, and it seems like nobody has a simple answer, but how are you making the volume come right through the phone and out of the e2 itself, instead of recording a video like I do with the audio being recorded from a mini speaker with the phone's outside mic, at the same time, which sounds horrible, because I'm recording the volume live from the mini speaker coming out of the e2. I know how your doing the video, but how do make the volume like it's coming out of the system itself? How could I record a video just like your doing, and with the volume like yours, instead of recording it live with my phone recorder? Is there anyway to do this with an android phone alone or without a computer? I know there's got to be a way, I am just not tech savvy at all. No one ever taught me this kind of stuff. Any feedback I'd really appreciate? What is the cable coming from your headphone jack, and where is that routed too, and recording into? Thanks Alex.

The Truth Channel hey man. I don’t have an android phone so I can’t give advice on that. I used a laptop with an audio interface. But, you have lots of options. You could try a simple audio recording device like one of the Zoom models if you want to keep it simple.

Are you only using the effects on the korg, or are you using an effect pedal or other machine to help with the sound effects? What were the two sounds that you were using in the very beginning? Those were really good.

Thanks Nathan Coleman. Its just the Electribe on its own. Not sure which sounds you mean exactly but the synth parts are made from the inbuilt waveforms 😎
