I am beginning to wonder about the battery tender junior. I put it on an AGM motorcycle battery for a '78 cb750K I am restoring. Come spring, the battery read correct voltage but would not run the starter motor. Appears that AGM battery dropped a cell over the winter. Considering the price for them, I am leery of using the Battery Tender Junior ( the square one, O9M22 series) on my new AGM battery. I noticed, when attached to the nearly charged AGM battery, the charger puts out 14.22 volts. That seems a little stiff for a near fully charged AGM motorcycle battery, considering a fully charged 12 volt AGM battery is 12.50 VDC. So, I attach the charger and monitor the charge voltage with my DVM. When the battery reads 12.50 with leads off, I turn off the charger. ALL these AGM batteries are poorly made and even slight overcharging will kill them. Just disappointed no one makes a good computer controlled ramp or step charger that tells you where things are at. Afraid to use my big computerized charger. Seems like serious overkill. I have been riding motorcycles since 1965. So, I know a lot about bikes that will charge a battery dry during your tour and ones that allow AC into the charge system. Those two reasons are why I do not buy any Honda or Yamaha bikes. By the way...I am an Electronics Design Engineer. If you do not have electrical connectors like Harley uses, use some Deoxit on those connectors every other year. Just FYI.

There's literally NO video and/or written instructions online letting anyone know what POSITION the air vents need to be when opened/closed!! How is this even possible?! The Shoei manual, numerous review videos, forums, etc., etc., etc..... NOTHING let's you know what the open or closed positions are!!!!!!!!! *facepalm*

I have an 01' sportster. Still has the original 401's on it. 22 years old but only has 6k miles on it because the previous owner didn't ride much. They still look good.
