As a dark skinned born and breed Singaporean - this reflects the small mindedness that still prevails in Singapore . It’s sad how he thinks that darkening his face , faking pigin accented English and a laugh track make this ok . Who signed off on this and which agency came up with this bigoted nonsense?

If you truly love dogs, you would treat them as your young children. Would you leave your young children unattended for more than ten minutes? Even the clever dogs have the mentality of children about 3, 4 years old. Good graciousness, 15 minutes of confining a dog unattended is punishment for dogs enough, not to mention leaving the dog to stand on a platform that poses a threat of falling. Isn't it common sense? Baffling. Is that stupidity or callousness?

My suggestion is for the SOP to change to suit animal factors in pet grooming table design. I.e, attach a full body harness with a leash that connects to the back from the overhead pole (that should be centralised with an inverted L-shape extension) and at least two legs strapped to the table as well rather than only with the leash over the neck when pet dogs are left unattended on the grooming table.
@windchijmes893Ай бұрын
Or perhaps NOT leave the dog unattended while going off as a whole group to get lunch? And just in case you have another case of poor reading comprehension, I said WHOLE GROUP. Like any other organisation, staggered lunch breaks are actually a thing. There's that other case when a dog died the same way when its groomer went off for a SMOKE BREAK. So maybe groomers should also NOT be going off for smoke breaks in the middle of grooming a dog? Or is that too cruel to groomers, hmm? You're talking so much about changing the grooming station design, yet there are other grooming salons who use the same design but they're not getting their clients' dogs killed? What about that then? Don't shift the blame to the equipment. This case is pure negligence, period.

Do you realize the repercussions for the entire pet dog grooming industry? It will be tainted with fear and misunderstandings. Besides, other associated service providers such as pet dog daycare centres, pet dog obedience training schools, pet retail shops and even veterinary clinics comprising of medical care professionals such as veterinarians as co-partners, veterinary nurses and vet technicians will be adversely and severely affected by trust issues with such rare, unfortunate accidents that occurred. We do not need to go to the extent of further harassment, summoning lawsuit(s) and fighting court case(s) that are profoundly exorbitant $$$ and cruel to the retail service business owner(s) who have sacrificed much and forged many new ties in order to set-up their businesses for the sake of us pet owners and our beloved pets...

@@GreyMaster666 Thanks for your insight. Thus, you helped me see through the true nature of a few of these errant biz owners. That their SOPs ought to be changed for the sake of safety-consciousness and prevent the lackadaisical attitudes of a few of their employees, leading to the tort of vicarious liability and possible lawsuit against the biz owner. As such, the biz owner(s)/directors need to be held responsible for the grevious mistakes made by the employees, and not just solely let the employee(s) take the blame .

Witnessing Lisa Bechina's experience at the Ring White Collar Boxing event and the unfair and questionable judging is disheartening. It is clear from the video and the unanimous feedback from the audience and social media that Lisa was the real winner of the fight. The decision to award her opponent the victory was a grave mistake, and Lisa's frustration and disappointment are understandable. The fact that a jury member allegedly informed Lisa's cornerman of the mistake is concerning and raises questions about the integrity of the judging process. Sporting events must adhere to ethical standards and uphold the principles of fairness and impartiality. Furthermore, the organizers' request for fighters to sell tables or seats for the event is a questionable practice that could compromise the event's integrity. While the organizers claim it is an accepted business model, it can create a conflict of interest for the fighters and make them feel obligated to sell more tickets to ensure a favourable outcome. It is disappointing to see the lack of response from the Singapore Boxing Federation regarding this incident. As the governing body for amateur boxing matches in Singapore, they have a responsibility to ensure and uphold fair and impartial judging and that the integrity of the sport is not compromised. Lisa Bechina's experience highlights the importance of ethical and fair practices in sporting events and the need for governing bodies to uphold these practices. We must continue to advocate for integrity and fairness in all areas of sport and work towards creating a more equitable and just world.

Congratulations to both young ladies on a great fight. It takes courage to get into ring and both ladies gave their best, cannot blame them if the decision at the end was questionable. They were also excellently attired for the fight, proper boxing boots, boxing shorts, proper tops, not sweaty sticky vest for a change, and good headguards. It looks well and professional to be properly attired for the fight. I have seen ladies and men before at White Collar events boxing in track suit bottoms, long leggings, tops with long sleeves and trainers to mention a few, does not look the part. Well done again ladies. Keep up the boxing, it is a very tough individual sport, you always have to be in top condition for a fight. You are in the ring on your own and your opponent will show you no mercy. Best of luck.
