I have a yth22/46 and gas keeps pouring into the carb without the motor running. Checked my plugs and they're good, the oil looks good but the engine only starts to turn over. I've been wanting an excuse to buy new but my 10 year old mower was running great before this. A fuel pump and filter is only $13, and a new mower could cost millions.

My set screw won’t go in. Is there a buy or something on the handlebar that the set screw goes into. The one for the housing to slide it off.

The washers are shims, and come in different micro sizes to get the correct meshing of the gears.

Just a heads up…..they weren’t washers, they were shims for setting the backlash when reassembling. And they aren’t gears holding the blades, they are splines.

Thanks for your video. Mine just blew uo while it was running with a loud bang. I could have gotten electrocuted, as I was standing in knee deep level of water, cleaning the pool sides. It could have also Flown in my eye and blinded me if I was standing over it.

My Whirlpool water softener worked great for 9 yrs. Then I started getting a lot of white buildup on my plumbing fixtures (faucets, etc.) I had my water softener tank and brine well cleaned and the medium (beads) dumped and replaced with new. Unfortunately, I am still getting the white build up on my faucets 3 months later. The water tests ok (soft) and I have recharged the water softener three times (with cleaner) but it still keeps happening. What is the problem?

Just ran across your video! Thanks for the great tutorial. I had already determined myself to DIY it and your video made me very confident. Now I'm just waiting on the rebuild kit to arrive. I read through comments as well and I believe I'll heed the advice of others and go ahead and change lines out as well. And probably install a filter before the bulb.

I just did the wear ring on mine now I have water pouring into the hull through the one little hole with the o rings on the left while sitting and it sprays in with force like the pumps pushing it when running and floods it? What did I do wrong and what is that hole for?.. 99 seadoo spx 787

How is it running, where is the fuel coming from for it to run

Very simple to follow along video. I’ll still call for service to fix mine lol. However 2 summers in a row my carburetor has clogged up and I’m using ethanol free gas. What do you think is the issue?

is there an additional sensor that hooks up to the single terminal.? I dont have an answer. so it maybe sits open , then gets tiny positive from distributor , then grounds coil, then opens? I made a 2 transistor board for a 50 cc AMF moped. buy 1 find out.

Getting ready to do this on my 2003 Focus with the 2.3L because I have that same code. Replaced the solenoids but they didn’t fix the problem so I’m pretty sure it’s the actuator based on everything I’ve seen and the slight hesitation at low rpm. Otherwise the car has run pretty solid despite this issue. Can’t wait to have my low end power back tho. Thank you for the very instructional video and keeping it simple. I feel I can do this work now on my next days off without worrying about it as much. Having the mental picture of what to do helps me so much. So thank you again for making this video!! You da man!

Nice informative video! My dad gave me a Poulan Pro saw that "only needs the fuel line replaced..." to be in working order... It's been a good saw, but has been well used on our farm. The small engine shop charges super high rates to fix anything and they take forever to do it. So I'm going to give it a shot myself. Your video seems to be just what the doctor ordered. Hi Lonnie, i think you provider me here with the solution to my problem. I already changed the Control module in the dash, filled up the freon, checked all fuses and switch, and all are just fine. Just clutch won’t engage on compressor. Now I will check out this low Freon pressure sensor. Thanks a lot 😎👍

The bow-tie clip at the 1:24 mark is what I've been looking for all day. I could not figure out how it was supposed to attach. Who knew it would use just one hole, on one side instead of the groove on the other side too. Seems like an incomplete design, but if it works it works.

hey my 2005 seadoo 3d makes a horribke sound when i rev it? like dqueling / brake noise ?? i just replaced the wear ring and filled the cone with 80-90w gear oil.. Prop spins freely.. idk what it could be ?

Hey Lonnie I know this an old video but I just tackled my trailboss 330. Couldn't have done it without you. 👌. Turns out the ring clip came off the reverse gear. A very talented mechanic/welder I know made sure that it would never happen again lol. My question is did you replace the triple lip seals on the shafts. Mine look fine but my bud is just change it. Over 100 bucks for the two ughhh. I'm ready to seal it up but holding off now he's got me second guessing lol.
