Marcellus just choose to close eyes , I am owner of limited company and also Marcellus investor --had they ever had courtesy to speak to us and refund management fees--if they just read KZbin comments they will see mirror

Corrupt powerful promoters who save taxes can only make money and manage there way of doing business in India --every govt office is monopoly office in India where only paisa bolta hai -how will your honest promoter manage this sea of corruption with his honest intents and by paying all taxes -so pack your bags and logic

Good interview. Focusses on other aspects than what is well known. One thing has to be appreciated about marcellus, they are very transparent. Not like say Mr Shawarma, who keeps making enigmatic statements to suit every market condition and you can never really understand what is going on or pin him down. Terry Smith is a legend. learned so much from him. for instance why p/e ratios are misleading for long term growth companies, see Terry's Malta presentation. Also continue to have 2 crore in Marcellus copycat portfolio, not because I trust Saurabh, but because all the research he and Rakshit shared over the years, makes logical sense.

The PE multiples of companies growing faster will exceed those of companies growing at a slower rate. If you purchase a company like Bajaj Finance with a PE of 30, and it grows at 30%, compared to buying HDFC at a PE of 15 with a growth rate of 15%, your returns will be similar at 30% and 15%, respectively. HDFC at a PE of 15 is not necessarily cheaper than Bajaj Finance at a PE of 30. Extrapolation carries risks. Simply because Asian Paints has grown at 20-30% in the past does not guarantee it will maintain similar growth rates indefinitely. Investing in it at a 50 PE multiple, expecting sustained high growth is a folly. The proof is in the pudding. If the fund does not consider valuation and buys giants at any price, this flawed principled approach to investing, however well articulated, won't generate consistent alpha. I have been a part-time investor since 2007 and, using some simple thumb rules, have beaten the market by at least 10 points every year.

Hey, anyone with half a brain, ask mommee what they have to do for my brother only to still become nothing. Must have been me who brought up tutoring? 1) Fail out 2x or swallow your pride? I never desired to sit in a rich person's cafe, but I also didn't want to be on academic probation again either. Berkeley Psychologist, probation protocol, said none of the successful people you see would be able to get in today. I would add, only a handful of the successful people would be able to replicate their success in today's far, far more competitive environment. 2) And what is Spring Break?

Bet. Nah u right tho. Do what u gotta do to tread water. Learning always better than coping bodies. Also, parents of disabled kids someway, somehow must find the money to pay to send their kids to a private school for their kids. Same story. I don't do tutoring to get ahead, I do tutoring to stay afloat. There's a difference. #Zuck Diamond Merchant Daddee vs. My Daddee who doesn't even know my major. Realistically, you didn't expect to get into Stuyvesant when you're competing against kids whose parents are doctors and lawyers? I barely graduated high school, but when I did, I passed through metal detectors to do it. #NewYorkPublicSchools

Bet. Nah u don't have to worry, they like u even more when u keep it a buck: The cost of tutoring was less and actually invested something back into you vs. PS4 + PS5 + video games + vacations + Netflix + Hulu + Disney+ + New Highlander + Square (Oh yes I am a donkey) + 2 MacBooks + Microsoft Surface + iPad + Amazon Echo Alphabet Soup Transcript + Coach-ability = God of War Like Humility ...And that is the reason Jobs stands head and shoulders above everyone. Should I repurchase shares? #Fatherless #BillCampbell

Bet. And all this from my burner account, like KD. Should have listened to John Adams and studied psychology. You wouldn't ever be in a position to ask for help. Or u should have gone to CUNY. Would have saved a buck, but your work ethic would still be shit today.
