This is awesome. I have the same "generic" heater inside of the Vevor diesel heater. I am going to post some vids on it soon. If I may ask, I am new to KZbin, coming from TikTok, for fear of "banning" possibility. I have no idea how monetization works, but you mentioned how well it's going for you, I figured I'd ask.

On a 5 litre tank of fuel @2.2hrz mine uses one 5 litre tank in 24 hrs . After start up it's using 0.8 of an amp ! I'm good with a 100ah Lithium ion phosphate battery for about 4 days if I don't turn it on and off ! I'm setting up a 5 gallon tank of fuel so I don't have to re-fuel each day ! Waiting on the sending unit from China ! Lol !

I think this is an uber practical tool, useful in specific situations but hardly desirable as a regular heat source: Leave the oil in the ground if you need to breathe clean air! As I once heard someone say "It's gotdammed Medievalism Jim!!".
@DIYJIM21 сағат бұрын
Thanks for watching. It's just an experiment, and not something I recommend as a primary heat source.

I can't thank you enough!!! Room temp mode wasn't working and no status light. I wiggled the probe connectors on the back of the stove and one was loose. When I pushed it in and joggled it, the status light would come on and it worked but still goes off here and there. I think I'll get a new probe and clean the connectors but at least now I've narrowed down the issue.

For my guy that made the video if you want to have an even more efficient burn with your pellets in your woodstove, I highly recommend getting the catalytic catalyst that you can put in your chimney just above the wood stove and below the damper so that you can keep the heat in the woodstove more and burn more clear out your chimney, but I highly recommend burning pellets in your wood stove because they burn more efficient and clean as well as their easier to store enough 40 pound bags of pellets to last a whole winter season than it is to store enough seasoned wood to last through the winter at least on my Homestead. It is specially with how often we get -40° weather.

Here is a tip about using plastic edging, don’t! It cost money, it pollutes the soil with micro plastics, it pollutes the earth for hundreds of years as it breaks down, in a short amount of time it gets covered with soil or mulch and it looks ugly.

Im a chimney sweep, and this was very very good. Couple possible tips: you can use a blanket to fill in around the vacuum to increase suction if you dont have a custom block like him. Also, I recommend sucking as you clean especially if you have a long vertical flue as blowing it out may not get it totally clear.
