Chegou bem rápido no endereço.

Thank you for the video. I recently got the yellow black one and didn't want to open it in case it tampers with actual device. Watching this helped in knowing what to expect

Can someone explain to me why insurance will cover Auvi q but not epi? Not even generic epi? I’ve been getting progressively sicker and my ent ordered an allergy test and well im allergic to everything outside but not animals! So I have to have an epi pen now and my insurance won’t cover it

I’m what instances might an adult require the epipen junior? I know someone who is over the weight but has a congenital cardiac issue and uses the epi junior

You "fire two of each of these devices"??? So, that would require to break or cut each in half --- only then you have two of each of these devices. And ... please would you explain before you do this why you do this? This happens when people who think they are smart produce YT clips and publish. There is no "control mechanism" to avoid idiots like this.

Thank you! This was one of my biggest questions when my kid got the Auvi-Q. It's good to know that the medication delivery is still done mechanically. It should still work even if if the electronics get wet, have a bad battery, suffer electromagnetic damage, etc.

Thank you very much. Your video helped us a lot. We live in Brazil and the epinephrine auto-injectors are not sold here, so we have to import it. It's expensive and it takes a long time to arrive, so we can't test it before a real emergency. So greatful for your demonstration.

If you can safely open the pen after administering of the first dose there is another 4 doses in the vial.

I just realized that my 5-year-old "EpiPen" isn't an EpiPen at all! I just looked and realized that it was a Mylar generic.🤣

Why did Mylan make a generic for its own product?
@twistedwhiskers87767 ай бұрын
Because of many complaints of high prices, if you make a generic, you can charge less due to not having licensing fees and other things like that

Dr. Brown? Has to be the same Dr. Brown from our nut allergy support groups. Years into our allergy management and our first time using a generic epi and came to YT to find instructions and here I find Dr. Brown! Still out there doing your amazing work for allergy families. As always, Thank you!

I have the last one, I was first prescribed it back in 2021, thank god I haven’t had the need to use one Yet. I’m afraid of needles and I hate that I have to keep the needle in for 10 seconds. Thank You for an informative video.

Great video. I just received the generic black and yellow and wasn’t sure if opening the “case” would ruin the pen because a tester wasn’t supplied and the instructions were not very descriptive but your video helped a lot. Thank you.

First time I got one like this and I do not like it. The epipen brand has a nice case that will protect it before use do matter how you are carrying it around. This one does not look like it will survive very long on a pocket or bag and having to take it out to check it does not seem like the best idea. Think I will carry the expired epipen brand one because at least I know it will not be broken when I need to get it out to use

As a RN and mast cell disease person that rebounds numerous times, this is good to know.
@bonitagirlyy8 ай бұрын
If you're an RN you could probably just get a vial of epi and some needles. It's way cheaper than epi pens. Epi pens make sense when you don't know your way around a needle and might panic if it's your first time having an anaphylactic reaction but if you need epi a lot it might be a more affordable option. You might even be able to do prefilled syringes. I think that's what a lot of ambulances do. So you don't have to think about how much to draw up. Dang epi pens are so expensive

Thanks, I've never had anaphylaxis, so I really only check the epipens in the spring and fall when I install them on my bicycle and remove them for winter (I've had large local reactions to bee stings that I get on bicycle rides on rails-to-trails, so I carry them). I can see that they are indeed in good shape.
