I am a nurse in qatar for 2 years I realize when I stop playing chess last 2016, I experience mental decline and my knowledge and cognitive function almost decline, when I abroad I realize chess is very important to maintain and until now I played chess even online all the criticism and negativity in my work abroad I overcome and face it confidently as compared before I never played chess, my father is true when I he was advised me not to stop in playing chess when I was in my country on Philippines, I regret that I stop is because of temptation to our daily basis and stress to our work like social media, politics, financial and depression all of them I stop playing in a sense I can overcome, but in reality it makes worst I notice in our life today's lot of challenges specially in applying job or any opportunities in daily basis that I fail because of mental decline l, now I'm here in qatar abroad and playing chess at the same time it helps me to become more stronger and confident in any problems may arise haay..

Good Information but slighlty incorrect. It is Dhyut or Dhoot which is 8000+ years older ancient format of Modern Chess. 2300 years ago, it was known as Shadyantra during Chanakya (Kautilya period). Chaturanga is fake and fictional. Chess during Ramayan period was played on Vrihadpad means nxn. During Maharabharat it was played on Dashpad (10x10). During Chanakya Period it was played on 10x10. During Islamic period, this game was restricted and limited to gurukuls only.

Negative. I don’t have any promos nor referral links or websites selling sets. These are just one opinion of some of the beautiful sets. You can agree or disagree. Thx.

Please feel free to mention the author of the chess compositions. In the present case, all problems are by Sam Loyd. Sam Loyd was a famous American chess problem composer of the 19th century. He creatd puzzles and pastimes in various other fields, too.

For the first puzzle, why not rook to F2? If the black queen goes A8 then capture with the pawn for checkmate. If queen goes H7 then queen to H8 for checkmate. Anything else then king to E2 for checkmate.

0:25 i'm sorry, but there is no way more than 20% of people resign with here. even if it's black's turn and they're about to queen. you're down 2 pawns, but up a bishop and a rook. you use the rook the stop the pawn from promoting by going to a4 and then if you decide not to take you're down 1 pawn and up a bishop with a pawn of your own about to promote. that 99% of people would resign as white is straight up lying. even if it's black's turn and they promote the pawn

For the first puzzle, why not rook to g2 then king to f2?
@ChessGameBuzz6 ай бұрын
if we do rook to G2 and black plays QA8, then if we move the king the black queen takes your queen, and if you take the queen, it won't be a mate in 2

For the first puzzle, what about 1. Qa2 Qb7 2. Rh2# Am I missing something?
@Grimlock19796 ай бұрын
Black could move the queen to h8, not b7.
@ChessGameBuzz6 ай бұрын
The idea is to find the best move after which you can mate in next move, if you do QA2, black can do QH8, and then there is no mate in next move, but if we do QA8, its definitely checkmate in next move
