Hardest Checkmate in 2 moves puzzles, can you solve these?

For the first puzzle, why not rook to F2? If the black queen goes A8 then capture with the pawn for checkmate. If queen goes H7 then queen to H8 for checkmate. Anything else then king to E2 for checkmate.

For the first puzzle, what about 1. Qa2 Qb7 2. Rh2# Am I missing something?

Black could move the queen to h8, not b7.

The idea is to find the best move after which you can mate in next move, if you do QA2, black can do QH8, and then there is no mate in next move, but if we do QA8, its definitely checkmate in next move

if we do rook to G2 and black plays QA8, then if we move the king the black queen takes your queen, and if you take the queen, it won't be a mate in 2
