The 80s was a great time. I was born in 88 but I’m glad my dad had all of these songs playing right through my childhood. I’d love to watch Vito play live.

The little riff he did at the end of the video, was that on one of the albums? I’m trying to remember. I hope someday to hear him play again

It's weird...I can't play this with the open A string...I have to play the low A with my thumb at the 5th fret on the e string. When I try with the open A, I keep snagging the e string.

Thanks Vito. I was alive to enjoy that summer I got into Pride in 1989. It was almost as good as falling in love.

This footage warms my heart and puts a smile on my face :) One of the few shredders who understood that musicality and composition skills matter just as much as chops (if not more).

White Lion only had one thing that to me caught my interest, and that was Vito Bratta, that was all, I really couldn't get into the whole pretty boy, comb over, poofy hair and spandex of Mike Tramp, to me , that wasn't macho at all, not anything alpha male, but Vito Bratta was gold!

It's a shame in later years he has gotten arthritis and could never really play this anymore. Im still thankful for all the great tunes tho!

His personality is what kept him from being a Guitar Legend. His short time was Unbelievable 👍👏, but he seems to have a Ritchie Blackmore personality tbh.

Thats very good, thanks, like it was straight out of the box - setup, sounds, gizmos, excellent. Hows your vibrato set up i wondered,. And always thought it was ' i wish yould hurry up and rescue me, so i can be on my mystical way...' till now when i checked lyrics. Unfortunately its not just about the American Indian anymore.......where are we headed people.

So talented, popular and from a rich family yet remained so humble and worked for everything he got..never got it from his rich dad.. Most of his peers r snobs, except the leppard guys. Such a nice guy.

I just started getting into these guys right before CJ died. I saw them back in the 90s. Such a long time ago. I was too stoned to pay attention. Then only a few weeks ago poof! I'm listening to them non-Stop Bill leverty is right up there with the best guitar players as far as I can tell. He does a little bit of tapping just like Eddie Van Halen. Guitar players learn from each other. That's the way it works. I love his solo on "reach for the sky".

I saw Firehouse in the 90s. I thought they were just "0k". Until a couple of months ago. I started listening to them more closely. And then...Reach for the sky got into my head and I couldn't get rid of it. I didn't know much about the band. I didn't even know their names. Then the lead singer died and I found out his name. CJ was an awesome singer. Rip
