Hi MR Hines, Can you please suggest what lense will be ideal for Jwellery photography, I will be setting up the items on table and using tripod to take photos. I have basic setup with one F1.4 35mm lens. If I need to buy another lense for this purpose I would go for it.

Hello sir.Is this camera better than the FX3 in terms of videography?
@glenblavenАй бұрын
Just found your channel after watching your due video with Jason Vong. Your work is inspirational and I’ve just bought 2 Zeiss lenses on your recommendation - 85 batis and the 35 manual focus. The first shots with the 85 are amazing. Wouldn’t have considered getting one without seeing how versatile it can be thanks to you. Looking forward to more videos from you. Subscribed 👍

I picked this camera up as a second camera to my A7RV. I can't wait to shoot an experiment on what this camera can truly do while learning to master it. Great content.

Based on this video I purchased the Zeiss 55mm f/1.8.. WOW is this lens SHARP.. so sharp i could almost shave with it! Am now looking at another wide angle to get out of my "comfort" zone of shooting with zoom lenses... the Batis 85mm could be it!

No worries about the weight of the lens on that adapter? Can’t believe that lenses doesn’t have a collar.

I appreciate these videos! Question why not brackwt at 10:00
@professorhineschoice2 ай бұрын
There's not a significant difference between the shadows and highlights for bracketing to be necessary. I have enough dynamic range in the single image to where if I need to go further in my edit of this it would be possible to obtain what I need from the one image.

хорошее видео! понятно что больше свободы в фотографии используя Sony a9 III из-за отсутсвия ограничений скорости синхронизации со вспышками 😀
@miklosnemeth85663 ай бұрын
Wow, that is eye opening. I think, after the A9III most (if not all) other cameras are irrelevant. I mean, Canon just released a 5RII expensive camera, but it is totally irrelevent, waste of money, after A9III. Even Sony's own magnificient A7RV is meaningful only because of its stunning sensor megapixels. I guess the A1II will have a global shutter, too. Fantastic content you have, Professor!

Right! I’m hoping someday this trickles down to the entry level bodies. I can’t see myself returning to a large camera and love the 7C II so much more over my 1. Thanks so much as well! 🥹

I am also near sighted and I need glasses. For the sunny outside I have my custom made sunglasses with polarizer filtering, which I enjoy a lot. However I cannot wear them when I shoot outdoors with a polarizer filter screwed on the lens, for obvious reasons. So I go back to my regular glasses, but that's ok. I am in my mid fifties. As a hobby photographer, who started in the late eighties, I absolutely refuse to give up the optical viewfinder of my Canon 600D. I never use the live view function of the screen, not even when I set up my camera on a tripod for some long exposure night shots. Bad habit to break I guess. I am glad that you found a solution for your eye vision issue. Carry on with your good stuff. I particularly enjoy your post production videos, and I make it kind of a sport to emulate your solutions in Raw Therapee.

Wow! Great for you you’re still using an OVF. I try not to use my EVF at all costs. They bother my eyes a lot, especially being so much bigger and brighter than a decade ago. I had a guy ask me to take a photo of him on my road trip and he had a Nikon DSLR and it threw me off being that it was an OVF. It was more pleasant to look at lol. I don’t mind the rear screen but the EVF’s are just a lot of light so close to the eyes. I’m glad my glasses help a lot for all this screen usage indeed. 🥹 I appreciate that and glad they’re helpful! I’ll have some new videos coming soon finally for the post production again as well!
