What do you look for when purchasing the diff?
@JesseBusse6 күн бұрын
Make sure to buy within your model years of 05-13 or 14-24. 2014 is when they switched the driveshaft couplers requiring you to get a custom driveshaft however, this was also when they switched to the Getrag limited slip. And as mentioned in the end of the video, buy a handheld tuner like the one listed in the description in order to change the gear ratio in the ECU. Hope this helps🤙🏼

The vast majority of what he says is very sound and reasonable. My only real critique is the constant clickbait. But, once you start watching the video, the content is usually pretty great

@ Yeah nice job. I have an SXT and they don’t come with a rear sway bar, but I believe the chassis is the same so all I would need to do is add the sway links too and it should all hook up. I’ll check your video again and see if I can find those mount points on my SXT 👍

Great! Couldn't be happier! A little life hack is to find rear shocks off a scat pack or an SRT if you don't want to buy brand new ones. Just make sure they don't have the adjustable dampeners on them. Hope this helps🤙🏼

OEM headlights aren't made as well or perform as well as good aftermarket headlights like Morimoto, Alpha Rex, or even top of the line Spider Apex LED headlights.
@JesseBusse26 күн бұрын
Alpharex and Morimoto are retrofit headlights that are 3 to 4 times as much as OEM headlights. I'd hope they're better quality. The Spyder Apex are also a retrofit option that are cheaper with lower quality than the previously mentioned companies but again, they're twice as much as OE headlights. The video is specifically about garbage like the base Spyder halos or Spec-D headlights and I actually give prase to retrofit options. Thank you for agreeing with me that custom retrofit headlights are better and higher quality than the cheap halo sets on Car id🤙🏼

To start off people in a magnum page suggested replacing the crank sensor that’s why I got to your video… what my car is doing it rough idles while stopped for maybe a minute it’ll die check engine, the lighting bolt and my oil light comes on.. also while I’m driving it’ll try to die on me but keep going I’m getting codes 700, 100 and 730… is this a crank sensor issue? Mine doesn’t crank for a while when I start it but it hesitates a little.. sorry for the long comment
@JesseBusse27 күн бұрын
P0700 and P0730 are both showing up as gear ratio issues while P0100 looks like MAF. Probably need to check for and ABS or transmission codes before buying a crank position sensor blindly. Hope this helps

Subscribing for the 3800, good choice. Car Wizard shirt is like wearing the bands T-shirt to their show, but I'll look the other way. Surging idle is sensor issue. Thanks for putting OEM wheels. Just go with steelies in my opinion, but I'm a cheap SOB. Nice car brother. Good taste. I daily a 2003 Pontiac Vibe. It gets a little small for me (6'1") but I can put the bike in the back of it.

For the ECT, it says it's a 2 wire sensor that's powered and grounded by the ECM. If it doesn't work, it can literally only be an issue with those two wires, or bad cluster, I think? The throttle position sensor is also grounded on the same wire, so if that works it seems like it would be an issue with the power wire. If you would like, respond with your email and I can send you the wiring diagram from ProDemand.
@JesseBusseАй бұрын
I do have the wiring diagram now, this issue will be addressed in a future video. Thank you for reaching out though!🤙🏼

Why tho why is it the coolant fault plz I need to need
@JesseBusseАй бұрын
Because your coolant runs through the throttle body. So if the car is still running and driving fine but the lightning bolt is on the the temp gauge isn't working, check the coolant level rather than messing with the throttle body
