Sir, How to permanently change units in Creo fron inch lbs. to mm kgs?
@CADxTrainingКүн бұрын
That is a long process. You need to learn about the config file. Unit in Creo depends upon the template file which is given by the config file.

Yet another simply AMAZING tutorial that outshines all the other Creo Tutorials on here or anywhere else. I have completed the model and rendered it with various metals and colors...and it looks astounding...a mechanical thing of precision and beauty. Using this model and methods, I am going to attempt the design of a Universal Joint, much like the design of a prop-shaft drive joint, transferring rotational power from the engine to the screw (propeller) in a boat. Well done, Sir. You are a genius...and thank you from the Grumpy Limey. Cheers !

Nice demo. Can we use the same method for mechanism constraints for simulation also?
@CADxTraining4 күн бұрын
This is to assemble the spring in assembly design. Not for simulation.

I'm unable to achieve your Flat Pattern at 6:47. My guess is I somehow did Sketched Rip differently than you did (5:17), but you didn't go over how you did your Rip in detail.
@Shadow9150723 күн бұрын
That's unfortunate. It'd be nice to be able to do both: a revolve sheetmetal wall with 2-directional bend & be able to flat pattern it. Thanks for posting these very informative, helpful vids nonetheless!
