Their google chart breakdown lists “two pointers and two pointer”. That’s the type of quality you’re going to get from this course.

Good stuff. Could you drop a review comparing their Premium & Premium Plus plan compared to say PluralSight?

I just completed the Business Analytics program and it was really hard because I had to found myself going back to brush up on an algebra, statistics, Microsoft Excel. It was rough.

I will tell you this it's best if you already have some type of good background in math or other programing languages because it's going to be hard. A lot of the videos just don't prepare you for the projects.

how does a $9 UDEMY course on WP & Elementor mastery compare to FREE 2 hour courses on KZbin? Any feedback or recos would help!

This school is not worth it at least for me. I started a numerology course that seemed good but it wasn't! You could find better information on Google than there on Udemy. The worst thing is that even though I tried to get my money back, they never did. At least I don't recommend this school to anyone.

Im new to the Web Development jobcore. I love to learn from KZbinrs in this tutorial space it seems like they all say they use Google and have a Group to help them through this. This is a relief for me because even they don't know:)

How did you a 2023 review in 2021? Are you a time traveler?

I got a scholarship for the Front End(FEnd) Nanodegree in 2023, so I didn't have to pay for it. I took another FEnd bootcamp-like course in 2022 with another company so wanted to refresh and see how the information would be presented with Udacity and to see if I could learn something new. I personally like how Udacity presents some of the information but a lot of the information that should have been presented in a FEnd program was not presented but rather referred to in external links and they basically told us to just look at the documentation. If I wanted to fish around the internet for information, I would not pay a company to look at other websites for info. That really put me off with the FEnd Nanodegree. I understand the need to learn the skill of looking at documentation but you are paying for information that should be organized and easily digestible, which I don't think Udacity did well for the program. Some sell up the mentorship... yeah I didn't feel the mentorship was even close to worth it. I didn't bother with it at all. The mentors recorded the mass mentorship/lecture but what was presented was definitely lacking. I feel that these mentorship/lectures were a waste of time. The only thing these lectures helped with was understanding and visually seeing how the projects are supposed to work, this could have easily been presented as GIFs. Only 2 of the 4 projects were presented well and easily understandable. The mentors did not present any new information nor did they help clarify concepts. They literally recorded themselves sitting around for the first 10-15 mins, then clicking through slides and reading the slides for another 30-45 mins that went over project requirements that were already presented in a doc on the Udacity site. There were only about 1 or 2 projects where this helped. The project reviews are pretty sparse. For the FEnd program, you submit 4 projects for review that must pass to graduate. The reviews I got were pretty cookie cutter and did not really give any substantial feedback. Since I understand a bit of FEnd, I sort of knew of some industry standards and practices, which I did not follow for my submissions. None of the reviewers said anything about not following industry standards nor practices. They did not offer any advice. This made me question if these reviewers even looked at the code or even understood the code or even knew of any industry standards and practices. Most of my reviews said the same praises like: "good organization" or "you did a good job". Very superficial and non-informative reviews. I feel that maybe in the past the program may have been better as I had access to their GitHub repo and could see some of the prior project content. It seemed that the projects were more involved and more relevant to what you would need to do for a job. The Nanodegree as it stands in August 2023 was barebones information and really lacking for FEnd. This may be because students weren't finishing the projects on time, as at the end of the time frame for the scholarship, they extended the deadline for final submission and completion by about a month. If that were the case, I feel that people were not able to finish the program because of the lack of actual information presented in the Nanodegree. If I were never had prior experience with FEnd at all, I would be lost once the javascript projects started. From the mentor/lectures and the course slack, I could tell that people weren't understanding HTML/CSS on the first project. Through out the presentation of materials for the course, I felt like a lot of the information they would have a quiz question where that information was never presented in the course material. I felt like it was supposed to have been presented but since they cut out a lot of material that was presented in the prior years, that they never updated the quiz questions. Even though, that information may have been helpful in learning some of the concepts. Another thing that bothered me was that their website was not mobile-friendly nor responsive. They do not even have an app. For a tech education platform to not have an app or have a responsive site in 2023 is really concerning. How can they possibly teach if they can't or won't do what they are teaching? This is my opinion for the Front End Web Development Nanodegree. I can't say much for the other Nanodegrees. I've only taken a couple of introductory courses for Machine Learning, trying to get a scholarship for that ML Nanodegree. There are pros for the course though. I found the soft deadlines somewhat motivating for me to complete the Udacity Nanodegree. If I were to compare the Udacity Nanodegree to Freecodecamp, I would say that FreeCodeCamp is much more complete. I never finished freecodecamp though. I couldn't maintain the motivation to complete it. The soft deadlines gave me the extra push to finish with the Udacity Nanodegree. If you're able to push yourself to complete it, then I would say freecodecamp is definitely better than the Udacity Nanodegree for information. But if you're looking for some more structure with deadlines, the Udacity Nanodegree will give you some semblance of structure. Though I feel that there are better educational programs out there for the same price range. If you're able to qualify and receive the Udacity Nanodegree scholarship, then definitely do it. I personally don't feel that it is worth paying for. Udacity offers several scholarships throughout the year sponsored by varying companies. They have different qualifications/ requirements, such as minority, high school/college students, or some other thing. Each scholarship is different and you will need to check. It's usually a 2 or 3 phase scholarship, where you apply for it and take a small quiz. Then they notify you whether you pass and can take an introductory course and an exam to see if you qualify for the final phase to actually take the Nanodegree.

FCC is definitely a time investment. If you can invest 2 years and do the volunteer work, then you will gain experience. For me, FCC is good for continuing education because you basically want to get some experience in this highly competitive industry ASAP.

In 2023 well. Udacity is better to say. Why? Because Udacity makes you a developer and a problem solver and how you can solve problems. Udacity is now better because of chatGPT involve there. You can research and go deeper in a short time to learn more. Yes, it is worth learning why because I'm a job hunter. I know what skills need to get the job. It has those providing inner architecture. It's a bit hard though.

Going through the Udacity Nanodegree, I definitely learned how to solve problems on my own because they barely taught anything. I pretty much had to figure out how to finish each project on my own because the information they presented only taught about 10-20% of what I needed to finish a project.

I took the Front End Web dev nano degree. The syllabus may seem complete but from my experience Udacity didn’t teach much of it. Most of what they had were external links to documentation.

I see that it is 2 years old review, yet from what I understand You are software developer, the issues u mentioned are the accross the other paths as well or not? For instance IT ops courses, are they outdated to 2015 etc.. I was looking for Virtualization and AD migration and setting up cluster which I'm interested in and I found 2022 windows server setup. Let me know Your thoughts on this, thanks

I had the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Stefan Mischook about his course. I am very excited to start it. As someone in tutorial hell, he really put some of my worries to rest. I've been following his channel for a while now and I can tell you that he is as pleasant to speak to as he seems in his videos.
