Wow what a balanced approach to answering that question. God’s ways and expectations may seem unfair but it works together for our good especially in character building and putting our hearts in the right posture. Balancing ministry and home has not always been easy but submitting to God’s timing I’m seeing things falling in place in its time.

Thank you for posting this very vital podcast and answering ALL my questions I emailed. I'm excited to listen. Nervous Dating a more spiritual individual (pastor) I know they're are requirements of the clergyman, but also as a women don't want to be manipulated cause they have more spiritual authority and knowledge. Thank you.

Hi, I just came around your video Being a pastor's wife is it a calling?
@ChatsWithFlo

Yes, it is. I enjoy being married to a pastor, but I know it’s only because of God’s will. You can endure because of God's grace when you are in God’s will.

My first lady is constantly being criticized from the pastors assistant she criticizes everyone ( pastors minster congregation) gossip excessively and disguised as being helpful Beware of the pastor's assistant they may know your business and if their heart is not submitted they will try to exploit your weaknesses and tell your personal business

Thank you for this very useful post! I became a pastor's wife late in life because it took a while for my husband to answer the call. I strengthen my spiritual life by tightening my inner circle. I include only those who share my same values and beliefs. More importantly, I spend as much time as possible in devotion, listening to the Lord and learning more about discipleship. A great book is Priscilla Shirer's latest one, "I Surrender All". Excellent. It's a deep dive into learning the difference between being a "believer/follower" and being a disciple of Christ. There's a definite difference. Every time I see one of your videos pop up, I click 🤗 Your wisdom and experience are invaluable❤

I really enjoyed this and your other videos! I’m grateful to have found you. I am marrying a pastor in February, we have been together almost 3 years but I have already experienced some of these things. I really struggled at first because he is the pastor of a dominant black church, while it doesn’t bother me , a lot were bothered. I feel like that just added to the list lol but I really appreciate you, and plan to share your page with a friend who is marrying a pastor in a few weeks! God bless you!

Church burnout is real. I know when I'm experiencing it I just pray and ask God can I rest.. I use that time to indulge in the Lord praying worship reading and just relaxing just pressing in asking Lord to give me a new fire. after some time I'll return and feel rejuvenated and refreshed. Jesus left the disciples and spent time alone God calls us to rest. We need it to be important I'm intercessor and feeling others'energy and complaints it becomes overwhelming and I need a spiritual cleansing and detox for MYSELF TO WALK IN MY MINISTRY

Thank you for reaching out. You have to find a way to release your stress. Please don't take your frustration out on your boyfriend's daughter. I agree that you should stop keeping her for a while. Children are innocent, and they do learn by watching us, so be mindful of your behavior.

You cannot choose to "grow in christ" whatever that may mean God is the one you brings the increase 1 Corinthians 3:6-8 King James Version 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. Once you are saved (belief in Christ for your salvation) then nothing you may want to do may take you away or closer to him for we are already seated with him Ephesians 2:6-9 and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

You can choose to grow in Christ. The Bible says if you draw nigh to him, he will draw nigh to you. James 4:7-10 The more time you spend with God, the closer you will become.

@@ChatsWithFlo yes but who makes the first move and gives you the strength to continue seeking his face remember Romans 3:10-18 King James Version 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

I've been wearing crochet braids back to back for the last few years. My hair grew a lot, but I also experienced some hair loss along my scalp. I took them out last week and decided that I needed to get comfortable wearing my hair without them. I went into work with my mini afro and got a lot of compliments. It felt so freeing and my confidence had boosted.
