Haha no...they're definitely not a scam, they're even offering degree programs now (but not federal financial aid unfortunately) :(

Thanks so much for the info! I'm currently looking for a college to learn Concept art and Illustration in, and CG Spectrum is one of my top options. I was wondering if the ability to make connections extended to Indie game studios, not just large AAA studios?

You're welcome! To answer your question, CGS is not going to directly put you in contact with small or large studios...it's going to be up to you to network within the community to find work. That being said, going to CGS is a step towards being active in the community and is an opportunity to not only connect with other students who will help you build your portfolio but your mentor who is actively working in the industry can give you great advice. You can absolutely apply to indie game studios but again, it's going to be up to you to build your portfolio, make connections and put yourself out there.

I LOVE CHRONICLES SO MUCH! 1! 1! 1! These books made my life! It was first reason for me to begun loving a vampires. Now I'm reading "Vampire Lestat", and I'm already fell in love with Lestat. Anne Rice's books is absolutely masterpiece. But I have a favorite vampire game too. This is Vampire: The Masquerade, and computer games Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines/Redemption. Now I'm playing on clan Tremere. I'm also watched "Underworld", "Blade", "Bram Stoker's Dracula", Netflix's anime "Castlevania" and "Castlevania: Nocturne", two films about Vampire Chronicles: "The Queen of the Damned" and "Interview with the Vampire", Twilight, "The Lost Boys", "Nosferatu: Phantom of the night". I'm living in dreaming about who I would be, if I become a vampire. How I would live, being a vampire? Now I writing a book about vampires and werewolfs.

@@gamblingberry2309 Nice!! The Vampire Lestat is so good! I’m currently reading Prince Lestat which is a very interesting take on the trials and tribulations that the vampire world must face. They really are the greatest vampire series ever told. Also, I’m really looking forward to the new Vampire: Masquerade game that’s coming out! I wish every day that I was a vampire haha

Hey man this video help me a lot, I got a partial scholarship to study in VFS earlier this year, but even with that it’s still a lot of money and I’m not from Canada so I will have to cover all my expenses while I’m there. But I recently found CG and the study programs are really similar to the ones at VFS and I’m considering on going fully into CG for the same course I would’ve take at VFS, do you think it’s really worth it?

I'm so glad to hear that! Yeah, your education is definitely an investment...here's my answer and I hope other people see this: can you afford it? That's the only question you need to be asking yourself. I maxed out my credit cards to go to CGS which was not a good idea and what did I get for it? A certificate on my LinkedIn which looks the same as a Udemy cert which costs $15. For anyone who sees this...the greatest thing that is going to get you a job is YOU, hard work sitting at your computer building your portfolio, applying to jobs and reaching out to people and going to events. I cannot advise to anyone putting yourself in debt. Was having a mentor helpful and CGS making it easy by giving me all of the straightforward videos that I need, yes. But with enough tenacity, I think it's possible to figure things out by watching enough KZbin videos and saving yourself around 12K which is what I paid. Save yourself thousands if you can and put that towards a house or stocks lol something that appreciates...hope that helps!
