Thanks so much for the info! I'm currently looking for a college to learn Concept art and Illustration in, and CG Spectrum is one of my top options. I was wondering if the ability to make connections extended to Indie game studios, not just large AAA studios?

Hey man this video help me a lot, I got a partial scholarship to study in VFS earlier this year, but even with that it’s still a lot of money and I’m not from Canada so I will have to cover all my expenses while I’m there. But I recently found CG and the study programs are really similar to the ones at VFS and I’m considering on going fully into CG for the same course I would’ve take at VFS, do you think it’s really worth it?

Thanks for making this video, I liked and subscribed. I'm considering CGS but I really wanna have a teacher and not just watch a course, follow it and then talk to a mentor for 1 hour because what if I get stuck at that moment and there's no one to virtually guide me through it? or does CG provide that? I understand there's the slack channel but I like to move fast.

Hey, thank you for the support!!! Having a mentor is CRUCIAL for getting unstuck. In terms of having access to your mentor outside of your Q&A sessions, it really depends on what mentor you have. In my experience and having learned from Lucas, he was super helpful and made a point to let me know to reach out to him whenever. That being said, some mentors are in different time zones so it might take them an hour or two to respond. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Nah, you’re good…there’s so much hype over generative AI and yeah, someday it will be convincing but just look at the images that Midjourney produces…it’s ridiculous with jagged edges and fingers and eyeballs popping up where they shouldn’t be. AI can’t replace human intelligence and millions of years of evolution, not yet anyway.
