had to replace fuel line and add electric pusher fans for my red 83, the swapped 350 only had a manual fan, now she stays cool and runs smooth even in 90 degree weather. next on my list is carburetor also!

Hey! You don’t have to take interior out for rear shocks. Just remove bottom back seats and pull carpet. By removing bottom seats, it will be way easier to tuck the carpet back in. Be ready to have dry black seam sealer all over your hands and interior. BTW, my experience with the monroe front struts is they are not properly tuned. Car front bounces and sounds like a clunker. Just installed Koni Yellow and it’s soooo much better. Rides like modern car.
@roadtripgarage6 күн бұрын
i figured out shortly after that i didn't have to take the interior apart, lol. that was my bad! it all worked out in the end. so far the monroes are doing ok, they arent the best by any means, but they where affordable. if i decide to start upgrades to it, it will defenitly get better, and ill check out the koni yellow for sure. i appreciate the info, and the reach out. post some pic of your ride on our fb page if you get a chance, id love to see it. cheers!!

If you are having trouble getting the new link in, try putting a jack under the opposite control arm, that should raise the sway bay up.
@roadtripgarageАй бұрын
great advice, ill try that when i get a better sway bar. cant wait to get it on the road
@mcqueenfanmanАй бұрын
I had one of these back in the 90s, I went on a junkyard hunt for Iroc or Z/28 sway bars. You'd want to get front crossmember braces too as the unibody likes to crack behind the steering gearbox. I keep the stock springs but with those bars, 15 x 7 wheels, and the light weight v6 it handled very well without the harsh ride of a Z.
@roadtripgarageАй бұрын
That’s great advice, I will have to look into that. I’ll look for one. Much appreciate the suggestion.
