@KitchenTableModeller I'm working on my 1/16 Scale German King Tiger tank by Trumpeter kit number 00910 it's a good fun build so far 😀

A great kit, it will be impressive on the display shelf when done. the largest armour kit I have is the old Tamiya 1/25 Centurion I need to make time to build it as it is a fantastic display model with the full interior.

@KitchenTableModeller Thanks Ian. I retired end of March 2017 and apart from the pandemic getting in the way life is good. I think one of the most important things in life, retired or not is a hobby and we modellers are blessed with the best hobby going. I have a stash like most modellers, not to big so hopefully I'll be modelling for a few more years yet. Regards Paul

If I remember rightly I painted the tracks on the kit with the use of careful masking for using my airbrush and also used a fine ripped paint brush for the harder to reach areas, once weathered any small errors soon disappeared leaving a nice overall finish. I have built other centurion based vehicles with individual link glued tracks where I have assembled them so I can remove them and paint them before putting the whole assembly back together. Overall there’s no set fast way to do them just what ever works best for you👍

@@KitchenTableModeller Thanks, I had the same kit currently and with its side skirts its a bit more complicated :)

Agree though with the side skirts on there’s less track to paint, the inside I think is more of a challenge due to the restricted access, this is where I used the brush the most👍

Totally agree, I am planning to build my next one as a MidWay aircraft, its definitely crying out for a retool to bring it into the 21st and correct the errors in the Revell Monagram kit😁👍
