have done this step by step pausing as i go, and i can NOT get the bushing to go in or turn like yours does....have to stop and look for silver cap again,my ruger sr1911 was never this hard, thhe bushing wont even go into gun unless the cap is depressed, and then its almost impossible to turn
@KleckerTactical7 ай бұрын
I would make sure that the bushing is turned the correct way before trying to turn it. It will only go 1 way to come out and sometimes only allow the spring cap to go past went turned 1 way. Not always the case but have seen it before. Also try the bushing in the slide wit the slide separate from the frame to ensure it's turning properly.

I hope it does loosen up a bit and allows for that extra round. Like you said, Its not a big deal but, I want what I paid for.
@NBWDOUGHBOY2 жыл бұрын
Okay cool. I honestly thought something was wrong with mine. It does not add +6 reliably. I really have to jam that Last round in there to get it to work. And you have to really stuff the magazine in the gun to work and It is almost impossible to rack the slide back with the 23 in the magazine. So really it only works with +5 out of the box. Im gonna message them and let them know about the issue and let them know I'm not the only one that's having that issue.

Question pls. If you have a .308 bolt action rifle and ar10 .308 semi auto , do you recommend using. 308 on the bolt action and 752x51 nato on the Ar10 . I m asking because the ar10 is more of a compact weapon vs a hunting rifle
@kevinshank42223 жыл бұрын
@@SuAmigoElilegal yes because the military Developed the 7.62 by 51 and Remington took the cartridge and introduced it as the 308 but it didn't sale for Remington and then Winchester took it and offered it as the 308 Winchester so that's why they are the same Cartridge because I have a m14 and it Shoot both cartridges because they are the same

I have the stainless steel version of this with no desert eagle logo on the slide. It is a model MR1911GSS and purchased in 2021. I asked Magnum Research a couple of questions after purchase. They said it is a desert eagle still but they can not put the logo on the slide anymore due to the ATF telling them they could not because it is on the 50 AE, 44 magnum and 357 magnum desert eagle models. Also the 1911’s with part MR1911 uses a different sight cut which is novak, the older models sight cut is kahr spec sight cut. I installed a novak dawson precision adjustable rear sight on it which worked out well except I could not tighten down the two set screws. It is a tight fit and I used loctite #243 so I am confident it will not move. I also purchased a dawson precision novak fiber optic front sight but have not installed it yet (just received a few days ago). Was getting intermittent failure to ejects after 100 flawless rounds. Magnum Research replaced the extractor and tensioned. I just got it back yesterday, turn around time from the time that I sent fedex to the time it was returned was under 7 days which I thought was pretty incredible.
