I got the base pad as a gift even doe I have the 4” compact 2.0. The base pad fit on the 15rd mag but wouldn’t go all the way in with the pin so I did what you did and it fits good no problems
@Cipherman3604 жыл бұрын
I did that too but I hated it. Sent it back.

Just bought this for my full size m&p2.0 . The base pad touches the back strap pin but it doesn’t interfere with it at all for me. Mag ejects perfectly and everything

I have a 2.0 and it works just fine with the basepads

I ended up going with the Strike Industries mag extensions and I prefer them

@@usa174 yes so far in the one year I have been using them no issues I just bought another set from my glock 45

Some of the base pads I believe were made to be used with a magwell

Probably would look neater to lay sandpaper on a flat surface and act like you’re sharpening a knife. Use finer grit to wear the end to finish it somewhat.
@fckjoebdn17763 жыл бұрын
Just use their magwell, I have them on my 1.0 & 2.0 and these extensions, no issues.

I’ve noticed this issue also. I have the same pistol.

⚠Does this +6 extension work in the new "m&p9 metal 2.0"? Let me know please!🔴

The aftermarket accessory manufacturers should pay more attention. Not the gun manufacturers fault.

Hey does your magazine takes a little more push to seat properly now that you’ve used the magazine? Mines feel so and I’ve added the +2/4 & it has a spacing at the bottom now between the base pad.
@KleckerTactical4 жыл бұрын
They fit tight and snug but not too difficult to get on
@Motorrad1274 жыл бұрын
How much play do you have between the magazine body and the TTI base pad?? I bought two of these for some PPQ magazines and they are sloppy af. You can see the followers through the gap and they snag on the edge of the pad when you're loading rounds in.
@KleckerTactical4 жыл бұрын
I have no play they fit tight

I purchased 3 of the +6 base pads w/ new springs. They’re supposed to give you 23+1 but can only get 19 in. Did you have this issue and are you currently using them now?
@KleckerTactical3 жыл бұрын
I get 23 In mine very tight but I can get them. I do still use them but I am switching to the strike industries ones, I like them better
@Steven_M.3 жыл бұрын
I know many people use extension base pads and they’re not originally designed for defensive use, but how much do you trust both?
@KleckerTactical3 жыл бұрын
@@Steven_M. the Taran Tactical one are aluminum so they are tougher and the strike industries ones are polymer but so far they have held up. I have not had and reliability issue with using them so far.

@@KleckerTactical Thank you for the responses. I’m hoping I don’t have to bounce around to Floyd’s, TaylorFreelance, Strike etc.

@@Steven_M. check to make sure the spring is fully seated and not snagging causing you not to get the full +6 you should at the very least get 22 in there using the TT springs that come with. Also juat to be certain check the packaging to make sure the sent the proper part. Hope that helps. The TT bases are $$$ so it hurts to get them an then not be satisfied

Aren't all 2.0 (3.6 to 5+) mags interchangeable except for shield? How is it not compatible with a 3.6?
@KleckerTactical5 жыл бұрын
From the Taran Tactical website their product page has the disclaimer which say their magazine extensions do not work on the compact models. tarantacticalinnovations.com/base-pad-for-m-p-9-40-full-size-magazines/ Here is a forum feed i found that may help. sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/430601935/m/2530023334 It appears that the grip length paired with the back strap retaining pin that I had to modify make it so it does not work well. I hope this helps.
@christopherthomas88055 жыл бұрын
They're not compatible with the 15 rds mags but work on the 17 rd mags which fit in the compacts
