Referring to your “hedged” comment earlier here- I pissed off a majority of my club when I said: “Just because you can afford to buy it, doesn’t mean you’re qualified to fly it”. Later, I heard a group of members whispering, you know, he’s right.

Hey Andy, been watching all your videos. Nice T-6. Back in the 1990's there was a full scale T-6 that flew in and out of the airport I worked. That plane has a very definitive sound all right.

Cool planes, I have been in a full scale t6, and owned a couple rc t6's, landing is when they bite, the t6 bounce.. But as far as it not getting a round motor, thats just disgusting. Single cylinders sound like @ass.

Very interesting. Good explanation of the opportunity and the issues. Are you going to make the basic repairs before putting it away, like the wing which will be simple, like you showed, now but an accidental impact could make it much worse. You should be able to get a small bottle of that yellow at a plastic model place. If the CARF color is scale, it should be a Federal Standard.

Just a comment in regard to the white glue and residue from it. A bit of acetone on a cloth or paper towel takes all that off. You probably won't see any seam at all. I've covered my last few planes with this. Works great.

Well I hope I didn't insult you just trying to add some feedback for you but the thing about a single camera shoot is its difficult to pan and zoom and keep that camera on target all at the same time. Video end quality can be improved by using manual focus as opposed to Auto as well but I realize you don't have 12 hands again a single camera shoot is difficult and I do love what you're doing so there you go. Without knowing your budget for your equipment and be impossible for me to recommend anything at this point so I guess I would say keep doing what you're doing it's better than 90% of the video out there anyway @@n1114v

Gorgeous plane, my favorite WWII fighter. Any reason you made the counter rotation opposite of the full scale plane? My guess is that it gives you a critical engine advantage if you have an engine out situation to make it more controllable. Flies very well and it is beautiful in the air as well as on the ground. Congrats on those initial flights, hope it's still doing well 7 years later.
