hard top for the win, better in bad weather, warmer, quieter, and looks better down. I had a 2011 GT with hard top and i drove it in the winter all the time. long road trips its great to have, and the rear defroster is clutch. Softops are great for people who live in warmer places year round.

"Keeping it Old School" ? The headline should be "Keeping it Reliable" vs the over stressed 4cyl turbo trucks everyone else is selling, supposedly due to economy. The reality is the 4 cyl turbo trucks don't get better gas mileage because drivers always feel the need to keep their foot in it to get the turbo spooling. As far as the wheel size...big wheels ruin the ride so that's not a downside, it's a plus.

There is NOTHING wrong with 16'' wheels. I'm trying to find a truck with 17'' at most.

I really wanted to like this Frontier. I test drove one last week and a Colorado on the same day. The colorado was much more fun to drive. A lot more punchy and smoother. Is this Frontier really that much more reliable for the long term? I don't think anyone knows yet
