I just bought the gamma boosted and sent it back because like you said once i unboxed it i can tell it was cheaply made and super loud. I was not pleased with the quality so I sent them back.

I don’t recommend anything from StyleCraft. Look at BaByliss and JRL which are easily the top two brands.

Hey you sure they don’t use the same charger because I broke my x trimmer charger and was going to buy the troll trimmer for 45 on Amazon instead of buying charger???

I really appreciate the review.. Interestingly enough this review helped me buy an entirely different trimmer that was in my top two. i was deciding between the BaBylissPRO FX3 Trimmer and the SC Saber. But like you i love a smaller size as im replacing a pair of And is Slimline Pro LiIon. but your reference that you got yours at Walmart which is my normal goto but i forgot to check.. i found the FX3 on walmart on sale for $107.99! $52.00 off! their regular price of 159.00 but actually $67 less than Retail ! Great find. there are only 5 more left in stock from this walmart ProSeller. I checked the other trimmers.. they weren't discounted like that.

Watch my review of the FX3. It’s one of my least favorite trimmers of all time. I can’t stand it. If you want something from BaByliss, get the Original LoPROFX or the FXOne LoPROFX.

You heard about kiepe prescelta? It's an underrated clipper at the price of 50-60 €,and a lot of top barbers from my country (Romania),use it&get super fresh fades.Can you da a review about it? The materials of it are not exceptional,but the result of exceptional haircuts that you get with that dlc fade blade are🔥🔝.Peace & keep doing what you do because you will get barbers around the world that will be your followers of content that you do.Anyway,superb and smart full review about any little angles of each clipper/trimmer🔝🤙💯✂️

I have the trolls and they came with the psycho blade preinstalled. I love the way they line up the hairline and remove bulk. But they aren't good for beards as they snag the course hair. And coming from Wahl Mag trimmers, the trolls are sooooo loud.

Hey Clint, do you happen to know if any replaceable blades from other trimmer brands fit the 2020t (and onyx). JRL replaceable blades are kind of hard to get in europe (especially the onyx replaceable blades). I know Philthy Blendz makes an adapter for the trimmer to be able to mount Babyliss blades, but i was kinda hoping i wouldnt have to resort to buying that adapter as it is 24 bucks + shipping costs for just a piece of plastic.

Bro why doesn't anyone SHOW how they hit. In real shop situations. Show lineups. Show what they do on c cups. Anyone can read the specs before hand. I appreciate the good review but what we can't see before hand are what they actually do..

The fact is… all trimmers trim and all clippers clip. I could go to Walmart and pick up a $30 clipper and a $30 trimmer that will do the exact same thing as a $200 BaByliss clipper and $200 BaByliss trimmer. The differences between the devices are covered in my videos. It’s not the way they cut that sets them apart, it’s the features, the ergonomics, etc. I can’t stand watching videos where the presenter does a cut because they all turn out the exact same. I fast forward thru the cut because I want to hear their thoughts, not watch how they fade. Thanks for watching.

thanks for the trimmer and clipper reviews, its hard to find unbiased reviews on youtube. I ended up ordering the JRL 2020c + 2020t set for 205 bucks. was doubting between the BabylissPro Boost+ Trimmer (105 bucks) and the JRL 2020t trimmer, I sure hope I made the right choice going for the JRL set!

My pleasure. I like the 2020T way more than the Boost. I’m not really a fan of any of the BaByliss FX trimmers or clippers. I do like the LoPROFX trimmers and clippers though. You can’t go wrong with the 2020C/2020T. Top products on the market in my opinion. The only thing better is the Onyx, and it’s not even that much better at all.

I don’t like demonstrations because all trimmers trim and all clippers clip. I think reviewers who do demonstrations are doing it because they can’t find the words to fill their reviews. It’s a cop out. I don’t care how “you” do a lineup or fade - I want to hear you talk about the products, you know? I find myself fast forwarding through the cuts because they always turn out the same. Just my two cents.
