Ive tried alot of different trimmers but the detailers are the best for lineups and beard lineups, they might be loud and rattle but every barber that has tried them would agree

@dominics2690 I decided before I started to do the opposite of what every other reviewer is doing, by removing the parts about their reviews that I don’t enjoy (ie. Unboxing’s, promoting products because a sponsor is paying them, showing themselves giving a haircut, etc). I always fast forward past reviewers doing a haircut because I think it’s a waste of my time. Here’s the reality: Every clipper and trimmer cuts hair 90-99% the same. I’ve purchased 30 products at this point and they all do the job. Heck, a $40 clipper or trimmer from Walmart cuts hair pretty well. To me, the main differences between all these devices is explained through words and thoughts, rather than a 5min example of someone’s head being trimmed. Those videos all turn out the exact same. Just my opinion and I appreciate you sharing yours.

Clint Mallon! Wow man. I don’t even know where to start. I have watched dozens of reviewers talk about clippers and trimmers over the years, and this is easily one of the best I’ve ever seen. Thank you! Do you think BaByliss is the best all around trimmer and clipper company in general? After watching this, I definitely trust your opinion. Please keep up the great work man!

Thank you for the kind words! I think BaByliss is definitely top two, along with JRL. Gamma is good but Stylecraft branded products are hyped by all the sellout KZbinrs, and the quality is bottom tier: 1. BaByliss: - The SNAPFX is the best all around trimmer I’ve ever used. It’s an easy 10/10. - The new FXOne LoPROFX trimmers and clippers are outstanding too. - I have the Boost+ trimmer and clipper and I don’t like them at all. - If you go with BaByliss, stick with the SNAPFX and FXOne, and you’re looking at world-class. 2. JRL: - The 2020T and 2020C genuinely make me smile because they’re the best by far. I have zero complaints about either of them, and for the price, they’re my absolute favorites. - The new ONYX Clipper is showing how hard JRL is trying, and I love it. - JRL makes the best clippers and trimmers in the world. 3. Gamma/Stylecraft: - Gamma gets all the best designs (Cyborg, Boosted, X-Ergo) while Stylecraft gets all the trash (Everything Stylecraft sells is sponsored BS). - The Rebel, Absolute Alpha, and Protégé Clippers are extremely low quality. - The Flex is also extremely low quality. - The Saber is the most overrated piece of junk ever created. - I like Gamma but Stylecraft branded products are shameful (Even though they’re the same company). They probably don't say much about the Babyliss because it's been out for quite awhile now. Plus they push the FX Boost & Snap FX!

I like the Boost Clipper, but the Boost trimmer isn’t on the same level as the SNAPFX. The LithiumFX is $50 less and it’s great for the price.

I looked at your graph and I can’t believe you put the saber in 12th place out of 20 that’s most barber’s favorite that’s the most talked about trimmer. I been watching these videos and have never heard of the JRL ff 2020t your number one pick. I do hear about the snapfx but mainly for travelers bc of the longevity of the battery. Would you please explain?

This is a very strange request being that I have a KZbin channel with videos explaining these products in extreme detail, and I even built a website that explains it in even more detail. Are you asking me to explain a third time? Stylecraft makes mediocre, cheaply built, overhyped throwaways. Their marketing is genius, because they pay the biggest names on KZbin to basically lie to all of us and tell us they’re the best. They dump boxes of free products on nearly every reviewer, which makes the recipient feel obligated to do an unboxing/quick review promo video. There are thousands of those videos. If you really want to know the truth about any of these products, I've already done the work for you. If you’re saying “Most barbers” as in “Other KZbin reviewers,” you’ve missed the boat. What you hear on KZbin isn’t real. Those are nearly all paid promotions, and the Stylecraft Saber is the most promoted trimmer on KZbin. In reality, it’s a piece of junk. 12th place is being generous.

@DUICE08 I appreciate you following my journey. And yeah man… Wahl is slipping. They’re just like Andis and I simply can’t stand behind their vision or their products. Way overpriced for what you get. I got the Hi-Viz too, and it’s number 16 out of 25 on my list. I don’t like it at all. It’s an 8/10 in my book and I would skip it too.

@@briom1425​​⁠Yo! I would definitely skip the Hi-Viz and the Detailer. I got the Hi-Viz for free and I’m going to be dropping that video against the Gamma Cyborg soon. It’s next up, so please Subscribe if you haven’t already. It really helps the channel. Even though I got it for free, I’m not going to do what all the other reviewers do: Sell out and give it a good rating even though it’s not a great product. SPOILER: I think it’s mediocre and I don’t even like using it. Wahl and Stylecraft are both slipping. After purchasing 7-8 trimmers and clippers from Stylecraft, I finally realized what they are: They pay all the biggest names on KZbin to sell out and rep their low quality products. FACTS!! Stylecraft quality is bottom tier. Their marketing is top tier. Avoid them. My recommendation is to stay clear of Wahl, Andis, Stylecraft, Cocco, Caliber, and especially 4MAS. Gamma branded products are fine (They get the good stuff while Stylecraft gets the trash). JRL, BaByliss, and TPOB are leading the pack right now. my only problem with your reviews are that you’re only basing on cosmetics rather than performance visually. Try throwing some cuts in the video

I’ll pass. Seeing other reviewers do a haircut in the middle of their videos, is my least favorite part of anyone’s review. That’s not a product review, it’s a tutorial, and I don’t like watching it. I don’t care how they cut hair, I want to hear them talk about the actual device. It’s partly why I created my channel because I think a cut video is the biggest waste of time. I always fast forward through those parts to get to the part where they talk about the actual devices.

Don’t buy that Wahl trimmer , it’s trash to put it plane , blunt and simple . Old technology the motor is not brushless either , it’s not as fun and easy to line up with due to the build shape does not give you 100% visibility , it’s not worth the price .
