This was pretty neat to watch Kevin. I always wanted to give the world of 3D printing a try, but at my house we got zero ventloation at all anywhere sadly. But I do admire the stuff that gets put all into it though. Got any recommendations on which printer I should get that would be safe to use on a non ventilated home by any chance as to which type of filliments would be needed in the future?

@CreativeSteve69 I'm getting a Bambu Labs A1 in a few weeks. That's a PLA printer that is not toxic like resin. It's supposed to be good, and safe to use inside (still have a window open though), but we'll see... I'm going to do some comparisons between resin and PLA and see the difference, we'll see how it goes :) Thanks for watching.

yay a brand new video from Kevin. I have learned a ton of stuff from your udemy courses kevin in the past which I am thankful for. I am highly excited on you fully reviving the channel and expanding with other art related stuff in the future. This sounds like it will be great content consumption as usual. Looking forward to it. For future content, I would love the usual tutorials, as well as beginning 3d printing tutorials since I myself is planning on entering into the world in the future as well so that would be lovely. Also would love some enivorment creation tutorials in the 3d space in the mix. I also would love some acrylic painting tutorials, as well as drawing. :)

toooooo long for a tutorial, trial and errors should not be included in a video
@KevsArtStuffАй бұрын
@VabbyNegi look at 2 comments down. Some people do like long videos. I also leave trial and errors because it can show what can go wrong too... I'm sure there are shorter ones you can find. 😀

22:22 The E3 build of Twisted Metal 2 is one I hope gets found/dumped at some point cause they're are many changes that I know exist in it compared to the final build and seeing as TM2 was apart of my childhood, I really want to play it and are so jealous of the people who played it at this E3. Some of the changes I think are most intresting are: When DeadHead (Hammerhead's name at this point in development) gets killed by Axel, the top of the screen reads ''Bummer.'' and they're is another known message that appears upon deaths that reads ''Man You're Pathetic!'', as well as the text reading ''Enemies Remaining'' instead of just ''Enemies'' as it does in the final. Another change I know of besides those messages involves the New York skyscraper level. They're is a completely different texture to one of the buildings that was changed in the final as well. And like with Hammerhead's beta name, Shadow, Mr. Slam, and Outlaw 2's car names were originally Undertaker, Bam Bam, and just Outlaw (like in TM1) respectively.

the only problem is that if you have a few tris amongst all the quads, it gets messed up also a free addon called 'uv squares' does the job in 1 click

Substance still very bad in this isolate part, if you're texturing your character inner mouth, and the teeth and tongue get in the way, you would want to hide them, but to do that, when export to painter, you have separate those meshes first. Idk how a premium program still has this silly limitation. This scene is easy to work with because each of the object is separated mesh.

why texture set list can seperate? I import fbx just one item in substance ,how to seperate them?
@KevsArtStuff6 ай бұрын
You can do both. Apply separate materials in your 3d package, and Substance will recognise that. Or you can have 1 material and separate the different surace textuers by masking them out inside SP. It really depends what you are doing and what your limitations are.

I had to put higher padding between those faces and I got it fixed. However, if you do that, then your textures will have noncontinuities obviously. However, you can mitigate this by using triplanar projection in substance if you want to maintain that continuity throughout the texture. Worked quite well for me.

Hi! I just started to enjoy 3d modelling as part of a hobby, and was always scared of the high poly modelling for baking and then reducing the poly count to game ready size. But with your tutorial there is nothing to fear anymore. Simply amazing! Infinite thanks!

@KevsArtStuff Жыл бұрын
Haha, i just literally did that in Blender a few minutes ago for my own project... how odd :) Select your model, go into edit mode, select your faces, drop down 'mesh', go to 'Normals' and select 'Select from faces'. Worked for me. Hope it helps :)
